Since I was not getting any update on e-cas I just tried to check candapost . I see a new update that my application was delivered on Nov-05-2009. Canada Post took almost 10days to deliver from Mississauga to CIC-M office. Now I am November applicant. Hope for a faster response process now.

We are going through the London office and our time line looks very similar. Only been a week since got my sponsorship approval letter.
nothing yet for me regarding transfer of file to visa office....as a previous post, its usually 2-3 weeks it shows up on ECAS that the file has been recieved....
the ppl who sent there application in early october like you, you have received ur aor.....

peacekeeper... you are one day ahead of me! so... if you don't have any news, i more than likely don't have any either. i was just reading the november forum, and the littlest hobo's application was received in mississauga october 27, and a decision was made november 12. so... hopefully we will have some news very soon!! |

i just checked ecas... and it says:
We received your application to sponsor XXXXX on October 30, 2009.
We started processing your application on November 16, 2009.
so, it makes me worried... that it is only processing, and that there isn't an instant decision made like everyone else.
and, my husband has 2 last names... and they have them backwards... instead of smith jones, they have jones smith.
what should i do? call and let them know? eek!! help!

@ ritosgirl I was expecting your reply . Do not worry. May be in 1-2 days they will update to approved. I think somone just opened your file and somone else might be working. Regarding Name.. wait untill you receive the letter. If any information is wrong on your letter you can contact and they will get it corrected. Now check your status everyday and keep us updated  All the best. |
