Judging from the tracking information, our application was delivered yesterday, but Canada Post doesn't provide delivery confirmation for USPS Express Mail that's sent to a P.O. box.

Hello All,
I have submitted my application ( spousal sponsor / pr ) on September 24, 2009. ( almost October ), so that I thought I will use this thread. My sponsor application got processed on October 15th 2009. Decision made on October 22nd 2009. I hope it is good news.

I'm Canadian and I am sponsoring my Thai husband. We are both in Canada and applying outland in Singapore. How do we keep up with what is happening? Do they correspond with us through email or mail?

Hello everyone!
What a great find this forum has been. It has certainly lifted my spirits!
We sent off our application to CPC-M on October 6, 2009 from Ottawa. It arrived October 7.
My partner is in Norway, so she will be processed through the London office. Funny story: When she went for her medical check in Oslo, the doctor had to literally blow off the dust from the forms. She was only the second person that year (this was in August) to be applying to immigrate to Canada! :)

I have the same question. When I called CIC, they said that they would only send a letter telling me whether I've been approved or not. They wouldn't 'confirm' that they've received it. |

Just got back from dropping off the application at FedEx, it will arrive at CPC-M on Tuesday, so now it's all about the wait.

hi guys,,
just want to share our application progress :D
i tried to log on to check our application today.. i know that its a bit strange to check it coz we sent our papers last oct 15 and as per time table you can log on only after 35 days.. but then fortunately i was able to log on... :D boomm Decision were already made last Oct 20.... so fast....
but on the other hand.. we have a lil prob our mailing address coz according case the mailing address was there previous house were there have already moved out... :(

Are you serious??? It took 5 days?? That makes me sad and worried that mine isnt showing anything online yet, as they recieved mine Oct 5.

I sent my application via UPS on Friday October 2nd to the Mississauga office. It was signed for on Monday October 5th at 10:00 am in the morning. So far I have not been able to get anything on the status of the application using my Receipt number. I did call the office on Friday last week to see if I had been issued a client ID number yet and they lady told me the file had not yet been "opened".
So I am still waiting!

I just called the 1800 number and foundout that my sponsorship application was received on 30th September and approved on 21st October. I haven't received any letter yet or cannot access ecas. Everyone here who sent their applications around sept 30th note that your applications will be processed soon.
