Yes, its for my boyfriends PR application. Sponsorship was already approved so this is from the Buffalo office that has begun processing. |

Logged into e-cas this evening and it said under PR application...
"We started processing xxx's application on November 4, 2009."
Amazing....! Sponsorship was JUST approved at the end of October and Buffalo has already begun processing. I havent even recieved AOR yet! Super excited and hoping this speedy processing continues...!

Thanks Prodigy! I am hoping they maintain the speed at which they have had with our application thus far. Good luck to you- you should hopefully see an update soon as our timelines are very similar (just through different visa offices) |

Just logged into E-CAS and Decision has been made. It said the following: We received your application to sponsor XXXXXXXX on October 23, 2009. We started processing your application on November 9, 2009. We sent you a letter on November 9, 2009 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. I sent my application in on the 23rd, I guess it took about 2.5 weeks for them to process.....anyone wo applied around this time, should expect something in e-cas. am so happy, i was worried, that they would return the application because i didn't have my marriage certifcate only record of solemnization... But they didn't inform you of their decision, just that a decision has been made. Don't count on your chickens hatching just yet, although you're surely fine....at worst your local visa office in charge of the applicant will demand to see the marriage certificate. Anyway, top job, looks like things are on the way. I'm sure everyone here knows that nagging feeling that they left something out, etc...

I sent a letter along with my application telling them that it was missing, that i would send the marriage certificate as soon as i receive it, hopefully that was sufficient. im trying to expediate the marriage certificate from the registrars office here in toronto.

you have to put the sponsor's information in. You mailed your application on the 27th according to your timeline. Give it another week, the area where you login says that the system is updated every tuesday, im not sure, if that is true, but mine was updated today and a decision was made yesterday...maybe ur in the next bunch. goodluck |

1st stage - sponsorship is almost always approved, if something is missing and they are returning the application they mention it on e-cas right away. |

you can also phone them and ask about your application - if there's any info available they tell you right away. |
