Hi Sulo, Actually my husband had given the doc there, so he had got a AOR there , and they had asked me to submit the communication details and they issued a letter with my file no that's different from the client id which he had received there.... Hope you also have both.... other than that nothing else we received from Colombo and its still processing from Dec 7th just 2weeks before yours.. Wish all of us will hear something good very soon......  |

@ ritosgirl.. Hope the race will end soon. Good morning Gows,
We never received any correspondence from the CHC-Colombo except for the letter I got from CPC-Mississauga regarding the sponsorship approval. Could you please tell me what you meant by "communication details". Are you are talking about the letters,cards, e-mails and phone records in which we have already submitted with our appllication or do I need to send them the most recent ones as well?

We all know that the police certificate expires after three months of the issuance and do you think whether it's a good idea to submit the second without being asked by the CHC-Col?

Hi Dear, You guys have done the correct thing with the application its self you attached those communication details (emails, Chat history, cards etc...) of course we missed that out so they asked to submit that for us... and for the police clearance i don't think so you need to do so.... and without requesting it you can't submit anything i guess and more over its valid for atleast 6 months as far as I know if not mine is also expired |

Sulo..... most of the time Police certificate is good for 1 year and some times beyond that. CHC-col did not asked us to submit a new Police certfiacate. they only asked us to do the medical. do not send any thing like police certficate or medicals before CHC acually asked for that unless some documents which you think it may impress the IO to make the decision. |

My wife just got her passport back with a shiny canadian permanent resident visa in it!!!!
all in all, a few days shy of 5 months from the day I mailed in the initial package to Mississauga. So not too bad...Glad to be done with all the hassle and stress of waiting for it to process.
Good luck to all the rest of you.
This is one forum I am happy to be done with, not that it wasnt an amazing resource with helpful people., but, THE PROCESS IS FINISHED!!!!!!!!!!!
