@ xyrus .. i too sent it through BlueDart with the same Rs.400 service .. they promised that they'll deliver my pp by tomorrow before 10.30am.
i have sent my 2passports with the photocopy of the PPR letter and nothing else as we have already sent my PCC original and payment receipt for 1040cad towards fees.
i hope i am not wrong wrt the documents couriered to ND office ...
@ Rachel .. did u tried checking with British Airways?? i just checked now and found 30K for adults and total journey time 24hrs.
ONE BIG CLARIFICATION ...
in case if we are going through one stop connection flight, then do we need to have a transit visa .. when i checked with my husband he said he never had any transit visa and he always gone through AbuDhabi ..
i remember few weeks back somebody said thr is a need of transit visa if we go via other countries like u.k, european contries , etc ..
can somebody clarify this ??

BA for 30k? i cudnt find it even in thier website...can u send me d link.... Transit visas are reqd. for some countries like USA....when i did landing last may i went by jet airways via london and d transit time is 9hrs...v asked whether we can go out and c some places in london and dey said yes but we didnt go incase v get into some trouble so v roamed in heathrow airport for 9hrs... we are planning to go by lufthansa(i already went in it n its gud) this time but the prblm is i couldnt confirm a bassinet or bulkhead seat for my baby  ...my hubby is coming to take me n baby to canada and so its getting more expensive for us to book round trip for hubby n 1way for me n baby... @ XYRUS----did u get ur FBI clearance? hav u blocked tickets already 4 3rd week of sept? i'm planning to go on dat week too... |

Not yet! Hopefully i'll get it this week. I had already blocked tickets for Sept 16th three weeks back, thinking visa would be issued by then but that won't be of any use now cz of FBI clearance issue. I'm being optimistic again n thinking of blocking Sept. 23rd, either lufthansa or jet! jet has only 2 hrs 25 mins halt in brussels where as luf has 3 hrs 35 mins in frankfurt...
My preferred airline is lufthansa and ive been flying luf for years now. They even have a morning flight frm Delhi, its so convienient! But, morning flight wont make sense cz to reach Toronto, 2 flight changes r required, del>munich>frankfurt>Toronto which is no good!
I flew BA 2 yrs. back, one way, del-new york for 31K n was so excited abt it cz of the price but the experience was horrible! Ive been hearing great things about jet airways lately! All the best!

@ xyrus -- actually i dont have any flight experience .. my husband always travels by etihad .. may b i'll count your experience now for BA.. @ rachel -- i checked in makemytrip.com and i found british airways for 30k. i think etihad tkt price is 41k .. lufthansa has got 2-3k lesser than etihad. try this delhi based consultant num - 011-43020000 .. cpl of yrs b4 my husband got his ticket from chennai to toronto for 29k .. amazing .. jst hv a try .. |

I had emailed them three times frist time i got background check , then only review and then intial pending review.
I think they are not taking email sincerely
I am just following xyrus' advise take it easy and calm down

Chinthu, maybe BA has improved! I remember I chose BA in Jan 2009, anyone else tried BA recently? What is the name of your Travel Agent in Delhi? I heard Etihad service quality and experience is excellent but non stop flight from Abu Dhabi to TO is around 14 hrs!!

Hey guys did you know that it is cheap to buy fares from canada right now and If possible your loved ones can purchase a fare from here and send you notification its low season right now in canada it picks up around october , check out china airlines usually that is the cheapest airline around , i'd never travel British Airways its the worst airline ever and especially if you have never been to london and there is less than 2 hrs between flights it takes very long from one gate to the other if you do not know where you are going. I'd totally stay away from BA and London . Its cheap but its crap of an airline , It used to be rated as one of the best at one time now its actually one of the worst and if you want to for some reason reason change your dates ohh boy that will cost you an arm and leg with BA while its free with China Airlines . I personally prefer Japan Airlines or Singapore Airlines the two best airlines to travel to Canada and their change of date is free as well.

Guys I just read you said 30k one way , I think that is pretty cheap, its like 670 $ canadian I think that is pretty good price tell you the truth . I dont even think you can get that good a deal even from here .

Hey Guys, We got ur Passport Today with Visa Stamped  We are really happy, we got it today bu post at 1pm. It was stamped on 25th and posted on 27th so we recieved it today... So for ND applicants I'm assuming that we should see some sort of update on eCas about 3-4 weeks after they receive the application from Mississauga. My question is about getting into eCas for checking the updates.
Do I use the client id mentioned on my sponsorship approval letter and the personal information of the applicant (my spouse in India) to log in?

@ Kittyamul - I have only send them my new passport, as my old passport is destroyed and i didnt have any Visa or any stamping on that, so I dont think they needed my old passport. They have not asked my old passport aswell.
What i will suggest you, if ur passport is lost you can raise an FIR for that and if they ask about your passport then u can send them the FIR report...
