Yep very difficult place to live, beautiful but they are trying to keep illegal migrants out. They deport you automatically after 3 months jail time if you are illegal. They don't accept attested copies of a PPT either... you have to show them the original PPT if asked. This place is crazy for purse snatching too, so I was so scared my PPT was gonna get stolen and then I would get picked up by the police... LOL Anyways, let's see what Delhi does.... |

I just got a random e-mail from Delhi...
Guess my fear came true and I didn't even e-mail them about this... also another question, they are asking for RPRF, I already paid that... so how do I show them I paid.?
Please be advised that a letter has been mailed on January 25, 2011 at the mailing address requesting following by March 11, 2011:
- Police Clearance Certificate for applicant
- RPRF to be paid in Canada by sponsor
- Passport for applicant
We trust that this information will be of assistance.

Dear All, I have been reading this thread for the last 6 months. However, I was not a member of this forum until today. Finally, I have joined today and thought I will share what I have.. This thread has been extremely helpful and I thank everyone for your post. My husband had filed my application for PR on Sep 30. CIC received our application on Oct 1 and application was approved on Nov 2 and transferred to New Delhi. I received my passport request on DEC 22(dated Dec 11). I sent my passport via blue dart on DEC 28. I got ECAS updated last Tuesday to Decision made and PR Status to Completed. I am hoping it's positive  . I haven't received my passport yet. Sanyrog, Missing you, Applied, Adihanda, Santhi.... I totally understand how you guys feel  .... Trust me, Your VISA is on your way! |

Hi!nylalisa Congratulation u got passport request ,,,,and abt RPRF u must be having receipt of RPRF while u have paid the fees ,, ORIGINALS must be with CHC,,,,and if u have the photocopies of tht receipt make it attested,,, thn u can send it by e-mail/post as per ur convenience,,,,write a cover letter stating them in brief that those documents u have submitted at the time of application already ,,,but along with passport u r sending all the attested photocopies of said documents ,,,, |

I put an inquiry thru MP no replies nothing...
Got a call from mom that she received some docs today at home...
Guess what its my passport with visa stamped.....
Its shock for me but i dnt knw what happened and how it happens i have my visa in my hands and i am ready to fly ASAp..
I am excited so is my wife....

@ Sanyrog...As for why Delhi e-mailed me regarding these document requests for my husband... I have no
clue.. I didnt make the request because my file was only transferred on the 6th of Jan. Anyways I have photocopies and my client copy of my receipt showing the total amount I paid. Im guessibg its a standard letter and they know its paid. Ill get a certified copy from my local CiC office and send it off.
Congrats again on the stamped visa!!!!
