Hi all, I sumitted the spouse's PCC (15-20days old at the time applicaiton submitted) taken from Station House Officer with my spouse application. My spouse also submitted PP to get the PCC from Regional passport office. My spouse got it now. Today only mississauga visa office transferring file to ND visa office.
Is there a chance that ND visa office ask another PCC? Do you guys suggest to submit the PCC received from PP office before they request PP? Did any of you submit the PCC taken from Station House Officer?
I appreciate for your thoughts..

ur so encouraging n motivating minku9 thx. ipskang turned in his PP on july 16th but I don't know if processing is random or priority basis after PP submission. Honestly, im kinda nervous about the kind of response I will get from them. Call it fear of the unknown! My case is definitely more complicated than all of you as its my 2nd time so they are definitely going to scrutinize and go deeper! I still want to wait till the end of the month before I email them + I havnt even received my FBI clearances till now. I should be getting it by end of the month or sept. 1st week. Not that they asked for it but I want to have it ready if they do ask. I submitted copies of US FBI clearances from my previous app. with this app. Hi guys, I'm glad that things are moving ahead and on schedule for most of you. I remember when I kept asking my husband to send the email, he would not agree. He felt that it would slow things down. It took me a week to convince him and as dilneet stated, the day after our response, the visa was issued. At the end of the day, all that is provided is a status update, whether its a "final review" or a "background check". Although my email did state that they would not be able to respond to any future inquiries. So we lucked out in that we got the visa a few days later and there was no need to contact them again! I check in often to see how all you guys are doing. I can't wait for you all to have the peace of knowing that this process is over! xyrus...I had a self-imposed deadline as well before I thought about sending an email. Listen to your instincts as you are such a positive person to begin with.

I appreciate for your thoughts..
To begin with, if your PCC was 15-20 days old at the time of app. submission to CPC-Mississauga, I don't think there is a need to submit it again now. I doubt they would even ask for it now. Although, I submitted PCC again at the time of PP submission, but that was cz my PPC which was turned in at the time of app. submission was already expired by 10 days! My PCC is titled "Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police....." but it begins with "As per report of SHO, Police Station (my neighborhood) ....." Following is an excerpt from CIC website: How to obtain a police certificate
India
Do I need to provide a police certificate when applying for permanent residence? Yes.
How and where do I obtain one?
Local Requests
For districts other than the Punjab: Applicants should contact the local Senior Superintendent of Police/ Superintendent of Police/ Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner of Police, the Additional Commissioner of Police, or the Station House Officer (Police clearance certificate issued by the Regional Passport Office are also acceptable.
For residents of the Punjab: Only the Senior Superintendent of Police or the Regional Passport Office may sign a Police Clearance Certificate.
Non-Resident Requests Applicants should contact the Indian embassy or consulate. So It depends which area you are from. All the best to u!

Thanks for your kind thoughts, very nice of you! I've been pestering my wife to let me email the embassy but she is terrified cz of what happened to us (re-applied)! I guess i'll let a few days pass and would email them secretly if she does not still get convinced! I gotta do what I gotta do, I guess Hope you are having a wonderful time in CA!

Here it is in its entirety. Hope it helps! From what I've been seeing these past few months, looks like you are really close
Dear Sir/Madam, This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi. We acknowledge that our office has received 01 original passports for this application. Due to the high volume of correspondence received by this office, it generally takes several days following receipt to process passports and place them on file. The file is then directed to the attention of a processing team, where it may take several more days for a final review to take place to ensure all requirements have met for visa issuance. This file is currently pending final review by the responsible processing team and a decision by the officer. As soon as the review has taken place, our office will contact the applicants in case any further documentation or information is required. If the officer is satisfied all requirements have been met, visas will be issued, following which we will return the passports to the applicant by registered mail. Kindly note that it can take several days for registered mail to reach its destination. Please be advised that all statutory requirements must be met before we can issue visas. We therefore cannot provide you with a precise date by which this application will be finalized and the passports returned. Your continued patience is appreciated. We can assure you that we give the highest processing priority to cases which are ready for visa issuance for which passports have been submitted. Until we contact the applicant, either to request additional documents or information or to return the passports, we will not be able to respond to further enquiries. We trust that this information will be of assistance. MRJ. Immigration Section / Section de l'immigration Canadian High Commission / Haut-Commissariat du Canada 7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri New Delhi India / Inde

I got the exactly same revert
quote author=dilneet link=topic=45583.msg383929#msg383929 date=1281615207] my husband too emailed them yesterday and got reply today-"your file is waiting final review by the visa officer.following the review decision and passport will be mailed to you by registered post".does it mean all the background checks are over now?
ipskang can you please tell me which computer generated reply you got?plzzzzzzzz reply thanks in advance.
But u are under a different category - PNP. I think the process is entirely different! Correct me if i'm wrong, but under PNP, one has to declare a skill category and in lieu of that, PR is processed?

I CHECKED SOME OF THE LATEST POSTS BY PRIXIT IN WHICH HE MENTIONED THAT HE GOT A REPLY THAT HE HAVE TO WAIT FOR 6 MONTHS AS THE NORMAL PROCESSING TIME IS THIS.BUT ON THIS THREAD HE IS SAYING THAT HE GOT THE SAME REVERT. I M A SORT OF CONFUSED BY HIS POSTS............GOD KNOWS WHAT'S THE TRUTH...............
