we filed our application on 21 may but havent heard anything yet.. donno why??
i got one query n i need help plzzz...
i havent send any communication details like phone bills or emails wid my file...
do they ask for them when the file is in india new delhi...yea
will they ask me or my sponsor for phone bills or emails???

did ur ECAS PR status change to "in process" after ur file is sent to ND office? Is new delhi prompt in updating ECAS?

Hi singhboi! I think its always advisable to submit plenty of proof of relationship docs. when the application is submitted by the sponsor in Canada. Since it was not submitted initially in your case and if they are not satisfied, they will surely contact you and ask for the requisite docs. They might even call you for an interview, hopefully the need does not arise! You can carry your docs during interview if thats the case. We submitted our app. on May 13th and received the Sponsorship approval letter on June 23rd 2010. eCAS was updated on June 22nd 2010. It said Decision was made on June 18th 2010! I would wait till next week if I were you. Hope this helps!

i stayed in uk for 5 years on student visa... will this delay processing of my application??? yea

We are sailing in the same boat I guess. I studied/worked in New York for 4 yrs as well. I read somewhere, maybe on this forum, that if an applicant has traveled overseas extensively, it can delay the process as the Immigration department conducts background checks for all those respective places. Not sure if that is only applicable for places where the applicant has stayed for more than 6 months or maybe, even short visits? Not sure! Regardless, CHC-Delhi is one of the fastest visa processing centers in the world per statistics posted on CIC website! Hoping for the best.

i was not asked for any extra documents so far... i dont know if the medical report has reached them.. no update on e-cas so far.... kinda worried.... why not they do something like what they do for us visa.... this waiting stuff is horrible

Hi All,
Need you help. My file is transferred to New Delhi, as per letter I recieved from cpc mississaugae, we forgot to sign on form "Additional family information" for my spouse and thus they have returned that form and asked to resend that form to new delhi..
have a quick question.. please advice of my spouse can send that form to new delhi directly or I need to send that form form canada to new delhi?
Please advice?? is there any call centre for new delhi office??

I would send it by a means that you can track it to make sure it arrives and that will take the worry out of wondering if they have it or not.

Hi all...my application was received on 12th may 2010 but it was moved to new delhi on 25th june. I could see ppl have posted that their app was received on 19th may and it has been moved on 22nd June. Is this possible??they dnt go by first come first serve.....

Thanks.. I will ask my spouse to send the application to new delhi, as he is in india..
one more question.. do you have any idea in how many days does our file reaches new delhi from mississauga.. and what are the av days to open a file in new delhi to start processing..
