same here.
my e-cas was update some time back and says in process.
We received XXXXXX application for permanent residence on November 22, 2010.
We started processing XXXXXX application on January 10, 2011.
Medical results have been received.
well good to know something is happening.
Hello waiting for wife and other forum members, pls let me know - My case was transfer to ND office on Dec 16th 2010. How can I check status ?I can see status like decision made on same week when case was transfer to ND, ie. I am eligible to sponsor. But how can I check for status of ND office for my spouse? Whether mail for ppr has been send to my spouse? |

@ it will happen soon. Some members like Bhupinder78 already got the PPR and they are on the same timeline as you, so I think they can tell you better what ECAS says for them.
Again... every case is different so you can't guess what exactly is ND doing. but I hope for the best

I found it has been updated with Application received ( Under Permanent Residence Application Status), where as Decision made (under - Sponsorship Application ) was available from the time it was transferred to ND. Visa Office. Further clicking Application received it states that - We received XXXXXXX application for permanent residence. Medical results have been received. So that means they are going to ask for passport request?  |

Weird, it doesn't say anything about our medicals being received? But they were done and send in May... and when ND contacted us for more information in Dec they said nothing about medicals etc.... All it says under my name is decision made (meaning my sponsorship was approved) and under my husbands name it still says in Process... when i click on that it says they have been processing it since the 16th of Sept 2010....
My husbands name is still spelt wrong (and we have contacted them 2 times about that), they changed it once but it was never correct... All of the papers, his passport and our communication with them has given them the proper spelling and order... I don't mind but i just hope they don't issue him a visa in the wrong name, each time they communicate with us they spell it different. Which makes me even more upset because the reason we were asked for more information and what is taking our case so much longer is a typo on our part... So it is okay for them to make a typo but as soon as well do they make us wait and wait.... so frustrating...
Where do people see anything about medicals here?

Guys this is what mine says: We received < Wife`s Name> application for permanent residence on September 28, 2010. Medical results have been received. I want to see what sonia see:
A decision has been made on <my husband's name> application. The office will contact <my husband's name> concerning this decision."I guess that will be next tuesday!!  |

Good luck to all whos ecas was updated atleast you guys get a light of hope.
Wonder why they start processing the application so late after receiving it.
Why don't they hire more staff to make the processing fast.

That is what i am wondering about why after 4 months they they updated the site. and pretty much a lot of us got a generic response, it was like a copy and paste answer. really still does not tell us where we stand in receiving the MILLION dollar VISA in our hands.

hmmm... mine doesnt say that they received it... All it says is:
We received *******************'s application for permanent residence on January 7, 2011.
Medical results have been received.
What does this even mean??

btw guys, i've been looking at other threads and pretty much EVERYONE that sent in their application between Aug 2010 - Dec 2010 had the same update it seems.. This is regardless of what visa office they applied from..
