How did u find out that ur appln was received by New Delhi on Nov 8th?? did ur ecas status change? Ur response would be helpful.

ur right. its so painful. I dint even get visit visa, so I cant even enter canada before getting PR cant see my husband, missing him so much

I got the following response from new delhi

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

This Family Class application was received by our office on 08-11-2010 after being forwarded by Case Processing Centre Mississauga.  This application is currently pending initial review, after which we will contact the applicant directly to advise the outcome of the review and any next steps.

We are striving to make our processing of Family Class applications as efficient as possible. We continue to meet our commitment to a service standard of 6 months to finalization for at least 80% of cases for sponsored spouses, partners, and children.  Processing times are calculated from the date the application is approved by Case Processing Centre Mississauga, after which it is sent to the visa office for further processing.  For individual cases, actual processing times may vary depending on the complexity of the application and the number of new applications received by the visa office.

oh ok. But whats this?? they take 2months or what to open the appln to do the initial review? this is so baddddddddddd

well its already been more than 2 months..still no feedback ..In some cases I have seen people got their PPR within one month of their file received by new delhi..So the process is not same for everyone

Yeah ppl used to get PPR within 1month of sponsorship approval. But from sep mid, delhi has become so lazyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Opening the file after 2months!!!! They say that they give the highest priority to Spouses and children!! they cant understand our pain!

So it looks like, our file is also opened only in Dec, after 2 months or so! As soon as they have opened it, they ve issued us PPR. No change in procedure and all!

If u see sid_dua's case, its been 2months and he is still waiting for the PPR. so I assume that way for us also

Hello there ppl I thought I would drop by and let you guys know of my wife's time line, I am already on route to India in Japan right now have an overnight stay here . For anyone interested If you are traveling to India from Vancouver take JAL as they give you a hotel stay both when going and coming back so you are relaxed on your trip to India and do not have to stress out on catching your connecting flight. As for my wife her decision was made on ecas on the 11th of Jan and she received her pp back on the 15th with all the original documents and pics , no additional documents were asked and no interview . I sent in 70 pics in total of first meeting, engagement, wedding , reception, after marriage . If anyone is still in the process of applying please make sure you send ample pics especially of after marriage trips etc and make sure all your documents are there saves you a big hassle of them asking for additional documents and pics thus further delaying your application process. Good Luck to you all and may you be with your loved ones soon

oh ok. Obviously they wont respond immediately u might ve to wait for this whole week atleast. Ur ecas might change to Decision made before that! Tomo is tuesday. Its already showing in process right? What abt the medicals? Does it also say Medical results are received?
