Update on Processing Times: Spouse, common‑law partner or dependent child
CIC Mississauga is now working on applications received on December 6, 2010
I am sure they under promise and over deliver, so we can expect faster processing from CIC in next couple weeks as they need to bring down the time line from 45 days to 35 days

Hi Mikoo, actually BC check perform by 3rd party and it's depend on them when they r submitting reports as VO conduct regarding case.... they told u that they r doing BC check? yeah i send them email and i was told that my case is under BC check so they don't have any time frame to tell me that when it will be finish but i got back my PP after 2 weeks .... so it's a little hard to think what they r saying on email and what they r doing....... Mikoo ND take 6 months and be glad that ND 2nd one who have very short time rather then other offices .....even USA and London office take long time then ND............. just do wait and i hope u will be get good news soon Congratulation Coffee i try to call interview day but may be u was busy......pls let me know how long time they took and what kind of Q. they asked to u and yeah start Ur packing now coz i think they will take hardly 2 weeks to send back ur PP and one week for mail as they use speed post only. |

Hey Vish
You sign into cic.gc.ca, and application status on the right, there you are checking the status of your application with your receipt number from when you paid for your application. Its a letter and a 9 digit number, and you use all the sponsor info (last name, first name, dob, and place of birth). If there's an update it will be there, if they have started processing it, it will say your info couldnt be found. The first update I saw was on 9th Jan saying a decision had been made on the 6th.

I am just wandering that i get passport request lettertoo ? or my husband in Nepal? or usually both get letter? i just dont trust the postal services in nepal.so hope i can get letter too . i havent seen anything on the checker on internet it just says(not available). |

The Sponsor do not get the PPR letter
It's ND that send the PPR letter to the sponsored person , if there is a representative who is handling your application/case then he or she will get the PPR letter on behalf of the sponsored person

Kit id is for office use now ND will be issue u file# on behalf Ur Kit id.
don't worry kit id is not for Ur use.... now u have to wait to get letter from ND and on that letter you will get Ur file id # for communicate to ND office.
