Hi Jot1988, Did you ask acknowlegement to Delhi office my sending mail or they themselves send the acknowledgement without asking.

I just emailed my MP (Live in Scarborough). I have a feeling he's just going to say i'm within the timeframe, so wait few months before he can investigate anything.

they finished 50 % cases in 4 months, 70% in 6 months and 80% in 7 months.

Processing times for these applications are calculated from the date on which the application is accepted by Case Processing Centre - Mississauga.

So, lets say there were 10 - Jan,2012 applicants - out of them

5 will be approved by May,12
2 will be approved by July,12
1 will be approved by Aug,12

the remaining 2 can take however long..

Similarly if there were 30 - Feb,2012 applications - out of them

15 will be approved by June,12
6 will be approved by Aug,12
3 will be approved by Sept,12

Now obviously this is the case when Mississauga is not causing additional delays, this Jan there time got increased by at least a month or so- which can explain water fall effect delays for all Jan,Feb, so on ... applicants.

this extra time should be added to the above calculations and going back to the e.g of Feb applicants would now be like:

30 - Feb,2012 applications - out of them

15 will be approved by July,12
6 will be approved by Sept,12
3 will be approved by Oct,12

similarly

10 - Jan,2012 applicants - out of them

5 will be approved by June,12
2 will be approved by Aug,12
1 will be approved by Sept,12

Look at the trackers, majority of Jan applicants were are being approved this June-July (5 out 10)

I suspect the same for Feb, majority will be July-august(15 out of 30)

My medicals are about to expire in 3 weeks time. Do you think I should get the medicals done again and send them to CIC-ND, just incase or wait for them to send me the letter??

medicals expires after one year not 6 months

well they are saying we have started processing your application

, so what does that mean , my earlier ecas showed that they started application process in nov 2011. and

now again it says we have started application process in march 2012

My case is similar they asked my wife for more pictures . Now they called her for an interview. We are on this since last 8 months. Although I had wedding but I missed out on ritual pictures and I did not have many(love marriage). I had all other proofs including honeymoon pics + phonebills(every single day since last 5 months) + travel tickets + gifts receipts + money transfers. Still I am worried if CHC NewDelhi rejects her. I might even visit NewDelhi I have few weeks to decide.  Much tensed and stressed theses days. If possible email me nhldesai @ gmail.com

I have marriage certificate + her passport has my name.  I had all other proofs including honeymoon pics + phonebills(every single day since last 5 months) + travel tickets + gifts receipts + money transfers + emails

In my case  they asked my wife for more pictures . Now they called her for an interview. We are on this since last 8 months. I am worried if CHC NewDelhi rejects her. I might even visit NewDelhi I have few weeks to decide.  Much tensed and stressed theses days.

IF any advise for her on interview .

i have almost similar case like u but i hv my wedding pics too....rest everything is same...love marriage, honeymoon pics, passport name, single day phone bill etc but i didnot hv my parents at marriage due to some circumstances....ND called my wife for interview....it went very smoothly...so dont b tensed...if ur relationship is genuine then there is no need to worry....

Actually I sent them an email inquiry like a month ago. They replied after one month and in that email, they gave me acknowledgment that they received my original passport.

Got a phone call last night from my MP saying that my husband just got his visa. My MP just sent me the reply he got from Delhi saying that the decision had been made on July 9th and that his passport should be sent shortly.

I can't believe the wait is almost over! Ecas has not been updated yet but that's okay I got it in writing! We are so happy. Hopefully we get the passport back soon so I can book the flight ticket for the 22nd!!!

Congrats for your dm. I am really happy fr you. Now u can reunite with your spouse n can see your daughter growing. I know how much it is frustrating to know that people who applied after you got dm before you. I also hope that my dm is on its way.
