pls tell me that if i want to contact MP then i have to contact the indian MP (in my area ) or he should be from canada my husband area.....pls reply..... as my case is in process since 13th june but after that no reply & my passport is wid the ND office since 18th may2012. pls help  It should be MP from Canada |

I did that for my husband's case and after my MP sent an email to Delhi his application went "In Process". Since then no news. They've had my husband's passport since Feb and still no visa! It's really frustrating! |

I know a few people have already asked this question but on average how long does it take for the passport to arrive back from Delhi? My husband is resolved not to purchase his ticket until the visa is actually in his hands and the impatience is driving us both a little crazy...

How do i pay Online Fee to sponsor my Spouse from India. I live in Canada.
There are two options when i try to pay fee online:-
a) Family Class
b) Spouse In Canada Class
Which one should i use to pay online fee?
Has any one paid the fee actually online?

The cic site says 93 days for initial application review. do i get any file no. or anything i need to do at this moment . please let me know. i would really appreciate it.

Just wait and watch till they reach end of May. They are processing April so may be you will hear something next month. You will get file no after 90 days when they look at your file. Good luck... hello folks,

hi Yogi3845, please tell me what kind of questions (give me many examples) they asked your friend when they went for interview in ND. What did they ask about his relationship and records, and how personal were they? and what do you mean by "catchy" questions? what was your friend's situation, was there anything complicated like divorce, travel history, or overstay of a visa? looking forward to your reply. thanks and good luck!  |

hi hpatel i am also noticing this for many days that few days back this thread was very active all were sharing their views but now a days it is not working i too check this forum many times in a day but nothing is new in this .........i think it can be becoz ND VO is not giving any type of news to us so thats why we have nothing to update & its so sad for all of us |

Last bit of good news...the passport arrived back today so it took 5 days. It appears the DM date was June 28.
lalatata, I can't access your spreadsheet - maybe you applied the same restrictions as I mistakenly did at first? After a number of members alerted me to it, I was able to open the sheet for viewing via the Share button on the top right.
