i sent my PP to NN on 8thOct,2010,
yes i sent our wedding reception pics and post marriage pics,even though we have submitted at the time of application.we w8 for one month and then my husband sent one e-mail to thm asking status for my visa,,,,
Next Day ND people called me and ask abt my med's then i told them my husband have already submitted tht at the time of application,then i gave them all the details regarding my med's,and i ask them i cansend tht receipt wch DMP has given me whn i did my med's,,,,but they told me its not needed at all,,,they will check with their med section,,,,next day i talk to DMP and inquired abt med's whether they have sent it to ND or not ,,,,DMP told me they have sent it on 22nd july to ND,,,,,after tht i sent e-mail to ND and told them abt this ,,,,then i got reply from them right now my application is under med and background check,,,and they dont need anything from my side.

Yes we did attach tht along application whn we submit the whole bunch of documents

Mikoo, Dono why they r doing this  even though u ve sent the medicals form, and post wedding and reception photos.. Delhi usually calls the applicant who stays in India.. are u a canadian citizen or PR? |

Hw was ur PPR letter? Did u also get the short form of letter asking just for the ppt or did u get the generic letter asking for PCC, fees and passport? Were there any deadlines mentioned?

Applied03, I sent thru blue dart courier. Sent it today. Missingyou, Mine was a diff one, the short form.. which applied03 got.. It asked oly for the ppt. Not for PCC or fees. Yeah we dono when our visa l come. V shud just wait with patience like hw we were waiting for PPR. U knw, generally ND sends PPR fast, and ppl had to wait only for the visa for so long. But we dono our fate whether we ve to wait for visa also, as we were waiting for so long, for PPR itself. |

Hi, I got a letter asking for PCC if not submitted, fees if not paid and passport...there were no deadlines mentioned? I had already submitted the PCC and the fees were paid, so i had sent a letter to them along with the PP mentioning that about it. Now what is the short form of letter??? Why didnt they mention the deadlines in my letter? Have they mentioned any deadlines in your PPR? |

i also had a long journey with cic and they took full time on my case so i can understand pain about all of u guys who already waiting for PR.

To all members of this forum: Thanks for all the help,support and kindness. We have been approved, perm residence has been granted to my hubby(visa issued). Hubby is waiting for the passport with visa stamped on it.  :)Really excited now. Thanks for everything and all my best wishes to everyone, god bless you all. Wish you an early visa stamping!:) How do you know that you received the Perm. Res. before the passport is sent back? Do they send you an email (and did you request they do so) OR did your status change on the CIC website? Thanks, Merry Christmas to all! |

30th July,2010:Application sent to Mississauga,Canada,
2ndSept,2010:Sponsorship Approved
20thSept,2010:Process has started and PPR sent by CHC,ND
14thOct,2010:Received letter requesting our wedding reception photos and post marriage outing photos
18thDec,2010:CASE SPECIFIC INQUIRY
20thDec,2010:Got call from Chc,Nd asking abt Med's
then next day i sent e-mail to them and told the about all the details regarding my Med's
yesterday i got Email from them that they are still doing medical and background check.
don't know when this unending process will be finished:(

applied03 - i wish we knew the answer to that! i'm hoping they don't take 2-3 months because they took much longer to send our PPRs than in other cases.
so factoring in the upcoming holidays, etc..i'm guessing the visas will come through by end January.
