hi i got DM just now. the address is showing my wife's home address in india. hope it is a +ve news.

Congrats...gud to know that, even my wife's indian adress started to showing on her ecase since last week, but no DM still inproces:)

VERY IMPORTANT question...please help!     I want to contact my MP in Canada about my husband's application. I got my passport request on May 10th and on June 18th, it will be a month since my passport and other documents were received at New Delhi visa office. I want to contact MP soon, it that ok? I have heard that it can delay the processing and when they find your application to give your status to the MP, the application is taken out of line and put at the end? Is that true or not? or will it actually help for MP to contact and remind them to start working on my application? I am also outside of Canada in India now and is it ok to send a signed and scanned copy of my consent form for inquiry into my case my email to my MP?  

more clearly...i mean my passport and other documents were received in ND office on May 18th and i am thinking about contacting my MP around June 18th, which is soon. my question is that is it ok to contact my MP one month later, since I have not heard anything about the status except application received?

Try mailing the address info to delhi enquiry mail or what you can do is call up the VO and ask for the procedure...that would be the right thing to do..

I have a question for you...when you've send you're passport, what address have you specified??i mean was it in the same format?.

For example: the address shown up on my page is the same as the one Dhl used to send my passport to delhi..so m nt that bothered coz jus the state wunt show up...plus the passport request mail had my adress correct.. So before doing anything just verify everything dear

yes in ppr letter they had correct address, same as in my passport.

bt in ecas they did nt update correct.

bt you mentioned in yours earlier post that they have updated your canada address under applicant ecas.

Yes...today i got my indian address..from 3 days bak it waz my canadian address...

I never got my indian address on my eCAS..But today evening it changed...either wayz m happy...i noe all will b fine in the end..

i was born in india then i moved to USA when i was 15 years old and i came back at age of 22.. then i went to australia for study but i came back to india withing six months. after came back from australia i have tried canada student visa and i got refusal 3 times....

then i just got married with a girl whos canadian citizen... shes older then me 5 years... and shes christian... tell me friends what are my chances?

my marriage is geniune.. we have phonebills, e-mail, chatts, photos, marriage photos.. our honeymoon proofs... and everything else...

plz friendz be honest and tell me what are my chances...  Thankxz for reading this friends !!!!!

Please be patient and wait for somebody to reply instead of spamming the board. Regarding your case most likely you will get interview request. Try to include as much proof as you can. Include photographs of the places where you and your wife went after marriage(e.g honeymoon, meeting relatives/friends etc), pictures of after marriage ceremonies. Also try to build your case such that you can show that you have been staying together for as long as possible.

Dont get panic. if your relationship is not fake , whatever the situation is you will get it. Certainly they will ask you questions about how you met her? It looked like you have tried many times to get in to Canada as a student, but you have been rejected all the times therefore you have taken this path to enter here? be prepared for this too. Your case is not straight forward but not impossible at all. Don't let the interviewer dominate you.
What about your parents do they know about this marriage?

Yes.. it was canadian address before..the reason i was confused..as everyone got indian address updates i got my Canadian one first..that was kinda weird :p

i checked my status on sat , no changes . this happened on sunday late night (around 10 am monday morning india time). waiting for the PP now.

Congrats!!!!! Go celebrate!!!! It will take a few days for them to change the address to your Canada one so don't worry!
