hi whizbee, I too sent my RPRF only after getting PPR. I sent to them on Jan 31.
They started processing my file from Feb 20 and it went to in process.
If your status is still application received, it may not be because of RPRF fee, it might be because of some other delay, like eligibility criteria, etc...
Hi Vengat83, why ND taking so long after In process status ? did you hear anything back from ND after In process status ? |

Sorry to say but my guess is your sister-in-law may be called to an interview. In arranged marriages the bride isn't usually older than the groom (I think), and also your brother was quite young (21?) at the time of marriage. Just my thoughts, hope I'm wrong.

Hi venkat where does it say u have to send one copy of rprp receipt to cpc-m and another to nd after file is transferred to nd. I guess we have to send it to nd only

Hope everyone is good...
As promised, I am back to share landing experience of wife.
Everything went well...Immigration officer greeted her and just asked couple of questions like where is she coming from, which flight, if she brought any valuables, if anything is shipped from home town to arrive at later date and the address where shes gonna stay...
Got a welcome kit containing important address and organisations to meet for her career here...
Rest of it is all cool...Trying to settle down..

My file was sent to ND on 27th Feb 2012, Since then I did not hear anything from ND. So I requested my MP to get some update. I believe he sent email to immigration on 27th May,2012. But till now we have not received any reply from immigration. It's been 4 days almost. Does immigration take so much time to reply to MP also ? Any idea  ?? Generally MP takes 2 to 6 days may b more i guess...i got reply from my MP probably 6 days. I got these reply Please be advised that we have received everything on this application and expect to finalise it soon. The decision and the passport will be mailed to the applicant through registered post soon. Till then, she is requested to await our contact. But its still inprocess donno when that soon comes.... |

Just got off the phone with CPC-M. The lady told me to wait till I get my UIC# and then I should pay the fees and send the receipt to Mississauga office with UCI#. so it won't get lost. They will take care after that. Just to be on safe side, I will send one to CPC-M and one to ND-VO with passport. I was told to do the same thing by cic-m, to wait till I get UCI #. Just a suggestion, you may want to pay it online now, then email/fax it to ND once you get UCI#. I waited to pay, but my consequence is waiting longer for PPR. It might make it faster for you?

On the E-Cas status, they have updated my address, but status is still showing as "Application Received"
Also they have messed up the city and state. e.g.
555 XXXXXXXX
Maharashtra,
Mumbai,
India
Postal Code
Please advice if I should contact them and get the city and state reversed.
