Does New - Delhi send PPR request via email on specific days or they send them any days of week ?

When sending the passport to CHC-ND, do i also have to send them a prepaid return address envelope or will they take care of sending it back to me.

Any applicants who have stayed in Singapore more than 6 months and waiting for Singapore Police Clearance ?

Could you please let me know how long it took you to get those police clearance.

Hi Guys,

I wanted to give an update on my visa status. I got DM yesterday on 29/05/12. My application was received on Dec 21, 2011. It was transferred to ND on Feb 9. I got PPR on Feb 29 and my application was "In Process" on April 13. My passport was received by ND on April 20. So I got DM in almost 5 months. I have lived out of India for the last 7 years of which I have lived in 2 countries for more than 6 months and traveled to another 3 for less than 6 months. Does anyone know how much delay is caused if the imm0008 form had gaps in it for addresss history and personal history? In my case I lost almost two months in the mail for receiving and sending the imm0008 form
Since the BFD they had mentioned in the letter was almost 2 months apart!!!!

Could you clarify one thing - did you actually go to :"in process" before getting PPR?  It's usually the other way around.  In any event, congratulations on the fast DM; you must be thrilled

hi everyone m new to ths forum .. .. i hav read many discussions about visas on this forum its really a goad place to wait for ur visa thr r many success stories .. .. i need some help

here is my case . 3 4 days back my husband apply for my spouse visa we attached every document everyproof like 500 pages of facebbok chats n 400 pic of pre mrg post mrg n wedding honeymoon etc etc .. yahoo chats .. like we were in contact with each other from aug 2011.. we had formal eng(roka) in nov2011  n wedding in march 2012 ... n we send everythng like medical .. police certificate .. and i to have travel history 1 yr so i also attached th police clearence from tht country .. so my prb is i was also refused student visa once of the same country where i spent 1 yr but in form it was written refused addmission to or order to leave canada .. refused addmission does not mean refused visa .. but later we chkd th form and its written if u refused .. visitor or temporary visa for canada or any other country .. ? so now my file is already sent 3 4 days backk .. so what shoud i do for that .. can i send them letter now n explain everything or i wait for my file to reach ND bcz my side proccessing will start at new delhi canada will only chek my husbands back ground .. ??

can anyone plzz helpp m soo soo confused on what to do.. '

and my husband wants to visit me again next month bt i hav heard tht once sponser filed application he is not allowed to leave th country bt m not sure wheather it goes to pr holder or citizen bcz my husband is canadian citizen by birth ... plzzz replyy soonnnnnn wt r th possibilitiess.....

yes its seems you have included almost everything already. yes wait until your file is transfered to new Delhi to send additional documents including your refusal letter for student visa for that other country. DO NOT check that box that says you have been refused admission to canada or another country. in your case you MUST put that you have been refused VISA for that country only - very important! YOU MUST send in another copy of that form to New Delhi after approval with the correction (and explanation for refusal of student visa) and seperate letter explaining the mistake and confusion! DO NOT send anything else to Missisauga in seperate package because they will just send it back, regardless of what it is, like in my case! you must wait until you get sponsorship approval and your file is transfered to your home country! that mistake on the form could cause a big problem if you dont correct it - PR visas are rejected if you were refused admission to Canada or another country (like entry at airport). being refused visa, as in your case, is less of a problem! dont worry now about it because your file is not processed in missisauga yet and those documents will not be needed necessarily for sponsorship approval. also dont worry because your husband is a canadian citezen, he can visit you and leave canada and return any time he would like. that restriction is only for PRs. however, if he is out of canada with you for a long time, he has to prove he will return to Canada when you get your PR.
