Guys need some advice!

I have all the papers and documents to sponsor my spouse including the medical, but the only thing that is stopping me to submit my application is the Police certificate. I don't know why but its taking my spouse so much time to get the PCC (people in India are so slow!! even in Delhi) and she has no travel history and lived her entire life on the same address in Delhi. Anyways, I was wondering, should I send my application without PCC and as soon as she gets it I can mail the PCC afterwords? Will that effect the process time, considering the 1st stage approval is almost 3 months.

Any advice would me appreciated

Thanks

we submitted our application without the PCC then once we were asked for the passport ND also asked us for PCC in the same letter so we sent our passport and PCC together

Don't wait. Double check all ur applicantions n send it. Once pp request comes, along with it they ask for pcc if it's not been submitted earlier..
All the Best!

Thanks.. But you know what, it's so difficult to keep my calm.
Every morning I tell myself that I will see decision made on the status( it's like blind faith). On 16 th may, it will be four months but on this forum have seen cases going beyond unreasonable timelines.. Sad
really, life is on a stand still.. Spouses who hav quit work n come to their hometown post marriage n now waiting for visas( or I am the only fool haha).
Seriously, before we applied I had no clue whatsoever about the processing timelines, I would hav never quit work..
Gosh! Started ventiong out.. Sad
it's like a sudden transit from such a busy schedule to being at home n just wait...
Waiting to come out of this deep limbo!
Sorry, just started venting out..
Hope, this ordeal ends for all the ppl who are in this waiting game! Smiley

thank you...i am so relieved...tell you honestly now i feel stupid we were so worked up...

have zero expectations...be cool...and don't forget yourself in this whole process...

love to all

don't do what i did...don't get consumed by this process as for "out of your busy schedule and being at home" enjoy the last few months with your family, parents, friends you will miss them terribly....get use to getting bored at least for the 1st few months you will have no job in Canada

don't get consumed...use the time to do something you've always wanted to do but never had time may join a martial arts class, yoga, build a bike, learn a craft..........make the most of BEING SINGLE  Tongue   i still forget that i'm married hahahaha

and if you find the wait is really killing you...go have an affair that will make the wait the easiest Cheesy hahahahahahahahahaha

gosh i'm funny Wink

MAJOR PROBLEM WITH TRANSLATION - PLEASE HELP!!!  Undecided Undecided Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Is anyone else applying without birth certificate? I have 3 certificates of "NO BIRTH RECORD FOUND" in Hindi from the local hospital that I need to submit to NDVO. I went to 2 senior lawyers today in India to have them translate my "Certificate of No Birth Records" into English and they refused and did not want to sign the affidavit and take responsibility for the translation. We need to have them sign an affidavit stating that the translation is true and correct. Who else can we go to for this? Will translation by a local college professor be acceptable? Or does it have to be done by a lawyer or translation company? Another problem is that the translation companies here in Delhi are not certified!!! Please help I need suggestions because I need to send this document with PPR!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Thanks and good luck! Smiley

Hi!
I was told by my lawyer incase I had any docs to be translated. I could get it testified by a govt school/college principal. Also to attach her/his college/school official Id along with it.
I never needed to get anything translated.

You must check with your lawyer or anyone on the forum who got translations done..
