Hello everyone,
I was looking at the spread sheet, and figured that there were many people who applied before December, I was wondering if some of the them already got visa and left the forum and did not update, Could any senior members verify this, this will help everyone to get a clear picture, what you think?

Hi guys...congrats to all those who got their visas esp my friend CanadiansWife :D:D hope you got your tan as well 

well as promised update from me...we got out CAIP notes. It shows Eligibility in progress which means they are still checking to see if our marriage is genuine. Security and background checks have not started. Medical is passed. They acknowledged receipt of the additional requested documents on March 18, 2012 but have still not even looked at it!!! There is no bring forward date mentioned on our CAIPs.

So basically, looks like we are in for the long haul. Since 6 months are already up on our file. I will be going in personally to meet my local MP next week. No point in going this week since its FRIDAY

It never went to In-process, directly went to Decision Made from App Recd on May 6, 2012.

I don't think the online status is always accurate. Mine is also still 'Application Received' and it never changed so far.

Hi All,

Good news from my side - My wife received her PP + visa today.  At last the wait is over.

Ecas status had changed to Decision Made from Application Recd this sunday and today she received PP+visa. Ecas never became In-Process, it directly went to Decision Made from Application Recd.

I had sent my application on Jan 3, 2012, so the total time from application sent to visa received is 128 days which is not bad at all considering few others who have been waiting for much longer. Also, my wife has a travel history to multiple countries but not for long duration. Just couple of weeks, vacation-holidaying with family. So I think they waived extensive BC.

Thank you all for your help and Best of Luck for all those waiting. I hope everyone gets their visas soon.

Please let me know if anyone wants any further information from me.

Thanks. The waiting is way too frustrating. It is too bad that they keep us in the dark and we are totaly not aware of what is going on. It is sad that nothing we can do about it.

i need very important help from expert guys who are considering valuable information,

I have interview on dated 24 May,2012.

.My wife went to MP office and they were very helpful and i got responce that intial review has been done,ur file is in queue for interview.so after two days in my ecas staus coming interview in on datedXXXXXXX

So when i look my filled form,i found one mistake that i did in IMM0008 that i went to abroad on student visa.after i leave study then take asylum.but I did work in comapny for three year and i have that certificate,

I  fill on status of country 1)student....from to that date.that is correct
but i was asylum seeker there but I filled on that worker.but i think i should have to fill the asylum seeker.

can anyone tells it affect on my application.?if yes ,how i manage now.
I and my wife filled application themself.we didnot hire any consultant.
what I will tell to immigration officer if he ask about it.?what i tell if he ask about my status.

pls help me? I am so much worried.pls help.

If that is a mistake by oversight, I would disclose it upfront even before the interview. If that is not disclosed and if they find it out later it would affect the credibility and it might adversely affect your application. If I were in your situation, I would send them a letter explaining that mistake even before the interview.

That u mean if they ask regarding the status then i tell it otherwise no need to explain.Is it Vengat83?

Yes ,this is the mistake by oversight.
I think now time is over to disclose.Because intial review has been done already.I attached travel PCC and I think they clarify about it.Otherwise they request for it or they will not forward my application as if they found it is false imformation,or if they want to confirm on the interview,,what u think If I will speak true on the spot that its happen my mistake when I will in front of immigration officer.?? What u think?  Have there any solution.?pls think deeply.
