hi everyone, i was just wondering about the timelines once PP is sent to ND. from adihanda's list, it seems that few ppl (patience07 and guptash) received visa in approx 1.5-2months. others such as sim85, vinjovi555, abcone and akrk have been waiting approx 3-4 months.
what do you guys feel about the expected time to receive passport back?
@ sim85, vinjovi555, abcone and akrk - did you try writing to ND and ask for status of visa?
any light on this matter would just help prepare me for the wait. thanks!

I did raise the issue in my separate post. Still worried about my file number. The letter I received fomr new delhi for PPR has no File number, though in the letter they say there's a file number quoted above. In my letter there is a 8 digit UCI number and an Application number starts with F. So just wondering, if someone had the same issue? |

Application received at CIC - 17th Nov
Decision Made - 13th December
I have a question. Status on ecas page still shows decision made and a letter has been sent on 13th december. I have not yet received the letter and I am in Toronto. Getting worried now - it shouldn't take that long from CIC Mississauga to Toronto.
@ Bhupinder - Did you receive the letter? I see that your app date is same as mine. Also, when does the status change on ecas or does it stay decision made for sponsorship application. Just wondering if they will show file transferred status there?
Any help is appreciated.

don't worry. you will get the letter. with the holiday season in, Canada post is probably backed up be mails.
Also you can call the CIC call center to know about the decision made.

Congrats sevenseconds and coffee11. Coffee11, when did ur sponsorship get approved? And Guys, I sent another case specific enquiry last thursday, and got reply from delhi saying Only the representative is authorized to get the info, and not even the applicant  whats this?? Am so scared .. where is my file now... Also seeing canada post takes lot of time to send the letter from Missisauga to Toronoto, not sure hw much time they l take for an international post.. from delhi to montreal |

I have read in other posts that everyone received Pictures of wedding and other documents with PPR. However I didn't receive anything with PPR. Do I expect that? 2. I understand that number starting from F could be my file number. But, Everyone says that there is a sticker on top of letter contains file number, FQR and other information. I dont have any sticker in my letter. |
