Congratulations! My application still hasn't left Canada and it was received on January 31st. I pray that they will approve me by next week (latest) and I can get an visa issued within 1 month as well. Let's hope! Congrats!

Nice to hear,but be carefull,May be someone just fun with you on phone
or May CIC will catch you ,when u will go to receive ur PP.
I think ,ND never call for collect visa and there are no issue that you land before 6 May.
You can land in 60 days of issuing the visa.
but happy you got a call from CIC.
But we when will get,,,,stilll don;t know.

From what we are seeing so far, those whose cases are straight forward with ample proofs and documentations and NO foriegn travel, they are issuing visas at about 120-150 days on average.
For those with foreign travels, its taking anything above 6 months.

My husband spent 2 years in UK on working holiday visa. I pray this is not true.  |

yes i lived in UK for 15-16 months but i dont think that will cause a delay of few months. there is an applicant "Newdelhi..." with travel history of 2 years in UK and got visa within 3 months of PPR. we cant predict anything about CIC as we are waiting for sponsorship approval for more than 3 months. everything what we can do is wait.....wait and wait. best of luck |
