its a proposal, sponsored spouses will come to canada as visitors(which will be quicker). and after the husband n wife have stayed together for 2 yrs, they will grant PR-ship. Read the cic website n read the news, dont go by rumors !

hey guys don't feel like coming to the forum any more for a bit...finding things tough and depressing...want to try things differently now...will not be checking my ecas either...will come here only to post any updates when i get them...so don't worry will keep you posted...i will check out on how all my friends are doing then  in the meantime all the best to all my forum friends esp the ones having interviews in may warmest wishes pandapenda Awww!! Keep your hopes up Panda! You will get your visa soon. You will be missed around here, but do keep visiting. Let me know when your NOTES come in. I understand what you mean by checking everyday, it's so hard. I try to not check all the time Either. You get anxious and fraustrated! HI Panda, Don't loose your hopes. Cause you never know you will hear a Good news very soon. I pray for you that you get your visa very soon. All the very best and my warm regards. Don't get frustrated, its been only 8 months you applied, check in my case. I have applied last year, its been over a year now and i'm still waiting for my Visa. As per my Vo, my case is still pending just cause of my Stupid lawyer and his stupid mistakes. At one stage i also lost my hopes but m back with full of energy now and can wait more. All the very best to you and to all who are waitnig. I do understand that how hard it's to live alone without our partner as I'm in the same boat as you lot. Hey buddy, Very much happy for you that finally ND started giving Visas. Hopefully everyone will get their passport with visa very soon. Just one question that why ND asked you to collect your passport from the Embassy, you should have received it by Post isn't it?? Have fun and all the very best for your future!! |

I think ,ND never call for collect visa and there are no issue that you land before 6 May. You can land in 60 days of issuing the visa. but happy you got a call from CIC. It is strange that ND would call about the visa, but its not so strange about Landing by May 6th, as I have seen cases where their medicals are expiring, so either they land before that date or redo medicals. And by looking at Dreamsca's timeline, medical was Done on May5th of last year. |

hey don't worry, you can expect call from ND as same as email or register post. Most of time they call applicant to receive his/her Passport. BTW, I am also expecting call rather than Email or register post Congrats once again Dreamsca all the best |

It "looks" completely legitimate in her case..... We have seen cases where ND "calls" when the medicals is about to expire and the visa is ready. they even make confirmation before stamping the visa if the medical is going to expire shortly... Because they can stamp the visa only till that date and if the immigrant visa expires and the person is not able to land, then its a complete mess for both of them. |
