Hey guys,
Update: Since I wasn't getting the call from my MP, I decided to go to her office yesterday evening. I met with the PA of the MP and after explaining to her why i was at the MP's office, she went inside and brought some paper and then started to tell me this.
"We have rec'd an update from ND VO on Tuesday and just about 2 hrs back we got another one. (Looking into the paper in her hands) Everything looks quite good...Security, Background and Criminality checks are done and no problems with them. Medicals were rec'd and they're still valid until Dec, 2012. The Next Bring Forward Date (BFD) is on Apr 25th, 2012. So by next week you should be hearing some positive news"
She didn't give me that paper though. This news made me feel better. Hoping what she said is into action next week.
Thats the update for now. Hoping each one of you get some updates on your files.
That's great news!!! It's good that the VO gave the info before the 6 month mark and the MP Was helpful! Anyway, I hope we both get our decision mades in the next two weeks!! |

And so far i found one lucky person in our recent post "Ksunny" here is the timeline of that person Passport Req..: 29-02-2012
VISA ISSUED...: 26-03-2012 was In Process on March 19, 2012
Yep, KSunny and Macadameia got their visas very quickly, and it's also because ND was reaching the end of their quarter. Now they have started a new quarter. I've been on the forum for a very very long time, and usually after a week of changing tO "In Process" decision was made. BUT all those cases got their status changed to "InProcess" later on in the case, rather than right after the Passport request. My status changed to In Process 9 days after they received my passport. So far it's been 3 weeks for me and 4 weeks for Srinivas. |

Lol no updates its too early to get updates since it went to inprocess two days before.
I'll let you know for sure if i hear anything from CIC...
does your sponsored person has travel history? what is ur current status shows?

don't know because our ecase still reads "application received"
They received our file in mid Nov. In Feb in a CSE email we should out that they had yet not started processing our application. Then in March we received a letter asking for additional information which we sent out asap.
Amidst all this our ecase status still reads "Application Received"

Hey, Looking at your update I tried to access my eCas Guess what... 2 new lines were added to mine. here they are "We received your application for permanent residence on January 3, 2012. We started processing your application on March 26, 2012. Medical results have been received. " Looks like Calm before the Storm  |

But one thing i didn't understand about how this updates happens... In computer language when we click "Update" that means updates will be displayed on screen at same time...Rightnow its midnight in India i dont think CIC works at these time  Unless CIC ND put some timeframe to update system at different times. |
