When i left india after a visit last year, I had a flight change over in Abu Dhabi and was chatting with my wife from there. using one of the airport kiosks. So the date on that kiosk is wrong as it states a date one day in the past.

So it seems like that is the reason they want an interview, as that is the only reason mentioned. but I could be wrong

i think that should work and write one explanation letter also(atating that you have just called CRA for option-c and dont want to waste 2-3 weeks waiting for that so i will send option-c later if you want)

first of all, you dont need to send original marriage certificate, dont do that. you dont know what will happen with your application package after leaving your home. dont include anything that can give you hard time if missed. CIC is missing lot of applications all the time and they didnt ask for original, just send one photocopy.
about option-c, you should tell them that you just applied for option-c, if they need they will request later but it will not cause delay. in some cases they returned whole application package after 3 months of submission just because of missing option-c. explain everything dont worry

In regards to your PCC, you do not need to get new Foreign PCC. As It will be ok as you no more living in that country. Also, your Local PCC & Medical is valid till August 2012 so don't worry.

Just got update from ND,my interview will be on 28th May,2012.

I just want to ask that My foreign PCC is valid until 1 May and Indian PCC valid until august 2012 as well as medical.

do u think they will demand again for new foreign PCC.what is the validity of PCC.I think One year.
But I requested again for new PCC in Nov2011,and i have new one and stil its not 6 month gone,

what u think guys if they need new PCC,i can provide new one if validity of foreign PCC is one year.
or I have to request again.

also wht u think they already done BC ?

It says you guys are compatible in all aspects, and one little glitch- they are gonna hold it against you guys. Unreal!!!! Do they not realize that this is MARRIAGE not a f u c king Criminal Case! (sorry for the bad language).

Well- for your sake and rest of ours and future applicants-  I really hope there is something else, otherwise, I think we all will have interviews- because there is no way an application can be PERFECT. I'm sure your wife doesn't need

I would say anywhere between mid May or end of May.

But again- this is just an Estimation! No one can tell you for sure, because each case is different. But you can estimate it based on the timeline spreadsheet and also with the people who applied around the same time as you to New Delhi office.

i have to resubmit it after my medical if i dont do tht after smtime nd will ask me. no 1 can tell us why bc r taking so long not even nd, every time they just said bc r done by outside agencies we dont have any control on tht once bc r done next step wd b considered........
i m a guy n i m in india but good news is tht my wife is cming here v soon, this Saturday night

ouche....really sucks...do u have to resurrender your passport as well or can you hold onto it until visa is ready this time?  Can you ask your MP why the background check is taking so long? Maybe ask you husband to pay a personal visit to the office!

Has anyone got FBI fingerprinting done with the help of  Mumbai police station?
I was told that gopniya division does fingerprinting and charges are also very nominal

Interview Details:

Whoever took my interview He was my Visa Officer. I have seen my file which i have originally submitted and there was a Barcode in front of that File. Before starting the Interview He has introduced and told that I"m your visa Officer.
He started asking me questions, started with questions which are relates to my Spouse.
  Was your wedding arranged?
  When you lot met first time?
  Who actually arranged that meeting?
  Where was it placed?
  why there are only few people in your ceremoney?
      

  We were supposed had our reception in August but somehow we did not have it, so he asked me for the reason that why didn't  we had      
  a reception?
  

We actually had Reception in January 2012, and i was carrying almost 270-280 photographs, which VO checked it every single one.

I was in England for 3 years from 2006 to 2009. And in our application Lawyer has put down that i was in India in 2007-2009. That's where the confusion came from.
Also, Lawyer did not disclosed his name in the entire application. So when I told VO that it was done my Lawyer, he was surprised and told me that as per your application it seems that yo udid not used any lawyer. Then i have told VO a entire storey and told him that i can proove that we have used Lawyer as the first letter from the Embassy, that was received at our Lawyer's office.
At the end Vo was convinced and told that you would have been in Canada by now if your Lawyer did not make some stupid mistakes.

When i was sitting in the interview, I was caughing and snizzing (littlebit), so VO told that your Medical and PCC both has expired now so you need to get both done again and send it to me. VO told that I assure you that you will get your Visa in 2 weeks of time, soon i get your Medical and PCC.

Today, i'm going to send all my documents to ND along with my Passport so let see what happens next.


So fingers crossed and guys please please pray for me. .
