Hey Shamsia!! Thanks for dropping in. When are you going to Canada? Please let us know your experience once you are there  GUESS WHAT GUYS?  ? I GOT MY PASSPORT REQUEST!!!!!!!!!!! The letter is dated Feb 23, 2012 but just got it today. Just like I suspected, they were waiting for the Quebec CSQ to come through, before they sent it and also mail delay since it's an overseas address. ALSO- TO CORRECT INFORMATION ON THIS FORUM, CIC-ND DOES MAIL STUFF OUTSIDE OF THE COUNTRY (SUCH AS LETTERS- BUT NOT PASSPORT). Great news CanadiansWife!!! This was long overdue for you! Hello All,
I Am new to the forum. I applied for my GCM notes and got it last week. In that I see that they have suspected my marriage, saying that I have not submitted enough photo proofs and other email proofs and they have recommended for an interview. Will it be ok, if I send all that they have asked now or wait until to take with them to the interview. Which one will be wiser thing to do please?
Can somebody help me out in this please?

I would say to do both. Mail in your pictures and emails (on the back of the pix write which date it was taken and if it was any occasion, write it). Mail the pictures and emails in, and if you do get an interview scheduled, take the proof with you too. By the way, what is your timeline? |

Thats a very tough guess !!! Thats where ND is inconsistent... In the last 2-3 months, if you look at the DM days - you will see data ranging from: 20-30 days - 1 30-40 days - 2 40-50 days - 6 50-60 days - 2 60-70 days - 2 70-90 days - 2 90-100 days - 4 100 - 120 days - 4 120-160 days - 5 Which bucket do you fall is hard to guess. I was expecting in each of them, so far I have crossed 4 and I am in 5th bucket (60-70 days). Still waiting ! Out of the recent 28 DMs, there is a 50% chance that you will get it within 70 days (approx 2-3 months). |

and ecase status is "Application Received"
"We received your application for permanent residence on January 6, 2012.
Medical results have been received".
Can someone please tell me me how to know when the application is been received by ND?
Is there any contact number, to know what is the exact status of my application, whether it is in progress or not.Because ecas does not reflect current status sometime?
Should I ask for the GCM note now to understand what is going on or I should wait longer?

I am new to these post...but heavily using sponsor approval post since last few days Received CIC MISS..on Jan11th 2012 AOR received on March10th 2012 Approved on March 15th 2012 Transfer to new delhi??? PPR request??? Visa issued??? I know i just began my actual processing...but need some useful info from senior members on these post just to know when my wife can receive her VISA approx month:) MAY OR JUNE - IDEALLY ! |

Hey, it's best to order GCM notes if you are passed the 6 month mark, or if 3-4 months go by and you don't get a passport request. You JUST sent in your application, not even a month ago- so Wait 2 weeks to get your PPR! Relax for the next two Weeks! I heard ECAS is not always reliable, and not always up to date. I had the same worry about knowing if ND got my application, but it's positive that they did receive it for sure! |

I live in the USA, but haven't traveled anywhere, especially after the age of 18- so I'm not sure how straight fwd that is! I want my Visa by May! Im I will be a wife even more so than now! |
