So u mean , VOs keep uploading to a program, and at a certain fixed time that programs puts it on ecas.
But its not consistent.
The only explanation is that the trigger for the ecas updating is a certain number of DMs, In processes.
I guess !

It is a combination of Human+Program
I think the ECAS is hosted and updated in a Canadian server by a program independent of GCMS (used at at the VO)

Visa office from different country might be sending to ECAS server weekly "batch programs" or data. Which is updated in ECAS.
And the ECAS may have different schedules for different country.

Even if not in Canada still ECAS should be independant system which needs "data" from GCMS.

I see from the recent updates.. that people who got into "in process" stage by end of november/ december first week got stuck there.. probably because of the christmas holidays?

So my MP got back to me, with not so great news.
He was told that we will be having an interview. He also said that they believe our marriage is genuine but need some clarifications :/

No idea about when the interview will happen.
Life goes on as usual for now...

On a side note:
Do any of you have any recommendations for a medical insurance company? (This is for my parents, coming from Mumbai as visitors)

thanks for your quick reply Cival. Greatly appreciated!!! I called them and they are saying that still 6 months is not completed for me and so they can't help me at this time. I need to wait till April for them to make a request on my behalf.

When did ND received your Passport? Did you contact the ND office through E-CAS???

One more thing Cival, if you have an interview then the best way to prepare for it is through applying for GCM notes. You can apply for it using this link and it costs $5. Hope this helps you!
