like I said before, it is scheduled to be updated on that time on the system...actual update might have happened much earlier at ND Office.

Someone who manually updates it (During working hours), schedules it to be updated on ECAS at particular time.

I dont think it is a manual update.
The new case processing system GCMS.
I think VO's desk has the PC with GCMS and all notes are entered into the system.
So GCMS is a system run real time used by VO

However I think that the ECAS is a separate entity being web based
and maybe for security reasons the ECAS and GCMS are not connected or not "wired"

And a manual transfer of application status is done batchwise to the ECAS from GCMS
(that is why we see the delay in GCMS)

Probably is done by some batch processing program and an administrator.
and not manually, like "packets" go from GCMS to ECAS
and update is run in schedule "periods"

like "time to wake up the Indians..."

Like the VO enters notes in GCMS as he works,
I dont think they are using "papers" to write case notes

Hey Vengat,,,

Good job and thanks for the spread sheet..
many people will benefit,,

one more request I see that you have "colored" the In Process people (I am partial Deuteranopia)
Can you make it a lighter colour (like some thing like light green or yellow for In process, dark green for Approved?

or you can invite me to share access and I will do.

currently it looks darker than the people approved,
Please do if you have time..
Thanks
Siva

Color code updated...

White - Application submitted
Yellow - In Process
Green - Decision Made

If you want edit rights, just IM your gmail id, I can share the rights.

So u mean , VOs keep uploading to a program, and at a certain fixed time that programs puts it on ecas.
But its not consistent.
The only explanation is that the trigger for the ecas updating is a certain number of DMs, In processes.
I guess !

When did you go "in process" ?

You have 1 more month to finish 6 months.

Now I strongly believe that 6 months of processing time starts from the day application received at CPC M. ND office is working on applications received during July-Aug and some Sept at this time. 6 months getting over for those who applied in July-Aug, and most of them have got DM unless extensive BC is is going on due to travel history.

So wait for a couple more weeks ..you will hear "DM" soon !!!

I am starting residency from July and want to get everything over quickly now so that we can enjoy before actual labor starts in July Wink Wink

Kuku
I had this doubt in the beginning
see ..
Sponsored Spouses, Partners, and Children

Processing times for these applications are calculated from the date on which the application is accepted by Case Processing Centre - Mississauga.
