Contact your MP...it does help.. and follow up with them if you already have contacted the MP office. They follow up your case with ND office on monthly bases after their initial contact with ND.
I contacted the MP and ND said it is in background checks since Dec.  it's been 3 months now and no news. i don't know what kind of bc checks they do that takes so long... |

Given that newdelhi2011 has already waited for 68 days now from PPR, he doesnt exactly fit in the Maple Magic criteria if he gets DM within a week or two.
So balibali and siva are the potential winners of next Maple draw, and ofcourse balibali is a strong contender as he got In Process already !!!
I don't feel so lucky. My wife has a travel history so i hoping to hear something in early march. |

If Bali Bali gets DM within 10 days max (and me..)
Then we can say that CHC-ND is now working towards less than 40 days from PPR for straight forward cases!
however what is a straight forward case maybe much more clearer when mine happens.

Hello ajith,
My wife is a Sep-29 Applicant. Our case is still in Application recived in ECAS
she sent a mail to CHC. They replied her case was awaiting initial review.
In my opinion it is too early for you to feel "apprehensive" there are still people here from July,August who got nothing.
So be cool. Any follow up action you do wait for 6 months to complete. Do not try before that it will be meaningless.
You see it all depends on case and some luck too. Your case seems to be straight forward.
But I observe that the processing time from PPR to DM was originally above 100 days and now coming to less than 100 days.
For your information I tried to bring my wife in TRV, I applied 4 times and rejected.
The only option for you to be is stay cool and wait.

yes, our time line is almost the same... but you can never judge ND office...some of the applicants who applied in sept also got DM...
Is your case straight forward ?? sf in the sense no travel history and a simple one...

Bali, my wife had a call from the embassy and after 10~15 days it changed to in-process and then later in a week or 2 it changed to DM. There was no letter or anything. so hang in there you are just inches away from DM  BTW any1 from toronto? |

+ In process means, somewhere in somefile, no one knows whats going on and whats gonna happen until next BFD. Thats what it is. VO opens your file only on BFD. They have so much work, they dont pic your file out of turn. So relax and wait. thats the key. Cheers! |
