Unfortunatley his ppt is under renewal process and the STUPID indian embassy here....is worth a lot of words... anyhow....NOW the hubby is freaking out...cuz he thinks that by going for interview to ND from USA he thinks he will get some telu ram idiot indian who will harrass him and he will get stuck...Please put his concerns at rest...by answering...Senior members please shine some light...what do they want to know when he goes for interview...Our case is very LEGIT...first marrigae first child... Please advice...Our lawyer has told us the list of proofs he needs to take with him... Does anyone know anything about when you have the interview date extended  |

is there any body on the thread who got update of application received after in process my ecas first started with in process which shows we received you application for PR ........ we started processing your application....... medical results have been recieved then when its turn to update it to DM they last week updated it to Application received to pamper me and repeats the update we have received your application for PR on ............ are they pampering me or cheeking my patience |

Check the following website for all the details - it's a little complicated to figure out, but very quick and easy to do - takes 10 minutes. The email address ATIP-AIPRP @ cic.gc.ca works for submitting requests - just attach scans of the completed forms and you're set to go. cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp Definitely order your notes, we just got ours (interview coming on Feb 22) and it's helped us prepare a lot - figure out what their concern is (in plain english) and what the status of all the other checks of the application are. Best $5 you'll ever spend It does take a month (ours came exactly 30 days after request) so get on it soon. If you have any questions about the forms, let me know. Good luck preparing, and hopefully you can get this all sorted out quickly! Our interview was scheduled 6 weeks in advance (sooo much waiting with the PR stuff!) but hopefully you can get one faster. Thanks again for your help! I have one question, In the form, in Section A, they are asking for the "Requester's reference number". What is it please? and in Section B, which one I need to check, CAIPS or GCMS or both. Could you help me out in this please? Thanks again for you help |

Hi All,
I am up in the middle of the night here in Canada, while my husband is at the spouse interview in New Delhi. We were married Feb 17th in Bangkok, Thailand. They had my husband submit his passport a couple of months ago. Is it possible his permanent residents card is being processed? Or are they pulling his toenails out and asking lots of questions? We have known each other since 2003 from online. I went to Mumbai Nov 2009, then we married in Feb 2011. Submitted was lots of proof of contact via email, phone and messenger. Gifts postage receipts too and lots of photos. We had a Hindu ceremony. We are middle aged, he never married. I was a widow and my kids are married. I am white and blonde and my husband is younger then me. Would that be any issue? It shouldn't, we have a very good relationship and marriage. We have been apart a year now. This is quite the stressful process. I am pleased to see a group to support us in our unique journey here!

hey bluecams, realx....if they had called for interview, they might just have some clarifications or might want to see the applicant in person in some special non-straight forward cases (like inter race, inter caste or anything different)...that doent mean it isnt genuine...
so wait and watch...
