Hello everyone!
Did anyone get pr card with misprinted name or date of birth or sex or nationality etc?

If yes, how much time it took to get the PR card replaced with correct information from CIC?

if it is in process and then if there is an interview then it would be written in ecas that interview scheduled on such day and In progress thing comes up only when they need to ask you something and they send you a letter.

So it means that they will ask for more documents from us ?

kuku dude ... dont overthink it ... theyve made changes to the system n the rules ... we dont know for sure ...
the bottom line is ur case is legit and ur file is open on their desk. live life by the drop !

ya my aunt got it, she hasnt changed it yet. in her case the name was written wrongly on the record of landing. so she is travelling on that. they issued a letter saying PR card is wrong. she is in usa right now. she can travel on it.

I think they will take time.. If would have directly changed to "DM" like maple if they wanted to issue a visa without any question.. Smiley

yes that is true. ..so what if directly goes to "DM" without going to "in process" Huh Wink Wink Wink

and one observation. most of ECAS updates happen on weekend and mostly Saturday night ( EST) Cheesy Cheesy

yes they may send you a letter if they need something.
if there is interview chances, it may appear on ecas or not.
"In Process" means that they are working for any bc to complete or want something from you

for some people it just goes to "dm" if nothing is asked.

but don't worry, everything would be ok.

first of congrats who got dependant visa approved....but can anyone please revert to my doubts

1.What documents we need to take when we go for medicals ?
2.Once we do medicals do they give us any evidence for medicals done which we can submit to CIC?
3.Mumbai PCC sucks(sori for foul language) after two weeks we came to know they need more documents that to when we checked status online they didn't call us?
4. I just have one rent receipt for whole year will that suffice as proof of my accommodation?


Please friends give me your expertise advise on above
