Hey Guys,

I always forget to ask about this! I did not change my last name to my husbands... YET, do you think that would change anything in the process of my application in ND?? I hope they won't question or mind that I have not changed my last name yet. In the modern day, a lot of women actually end up keeping their maiden name, and never changing it. I just thought it would be such a hassle to legally change my surname, I would have to change it on my passport, driver's license, bank accounts, etc.... so I thought I'd do this once I settle into Canada. 'Am I the only one? 

Changing Last name is an old fashion .............and makes no difference in the immigration process .............rather it increase the headache  and documents throughout the life...........

they Sent me Format of letter  in Three table   like 1) visited country name 2) visited period 3) purpose of visit

dude that is a form in the appendix that u need to fill with the application. may be it got misplaced from them or u forgot to fill it.
that form was a part of the application package for me. may be they just introduced it when u filed (bad luck?)

hi everyone,

I thought i'd just log onto the forum to share my timelines with you folks to keep u posted about ND's progress in processing papers.I'm familiar with quite a few names like shamsia(we recd our DM on the same day!) and deven,jun14 n a few more.... Yes, ND did seem like it took forever, but in hindsight they finished processing my papers in exactly 6 months, which proves that there is still some hope!
my timeline is as follows:

Visa Office......: new delhi
App. Filed.......:        10-06-2011
Sponsorship approval:28-07-2011
Appln processing :     17-08-11
Passport Req..:         23-08-11
Addnl docs req:         23-08-11
Above sent to ND:     10-09-11 ( received letter on 7/9/11)
Until the 19/12/11 my status showed as Application Received..
status changed to in process: 19-12-11
Decision made:         15-01-12
Received PP with visa:16-01-12

Just Thanking God for giving me my visa in time and hoping and praying for everybody else too..
Im makin the big move soon and would like to thank you all for the informative n entertaining posts!

Hahaha! I would have said the same thing on Friday. But everythings good now.
