Finally !!

So how long are the police certificates valid guys?? got them in sept 2011.

they asked for the following

-Payment of your Right of Permanent Resident Fee (landing fee) to our office in
Mississauga by your sponsor in Canada, if not already paid.
-police clearance certificates for time spent in any country for a period
of 6 months or more, if not already submitted.
-original passport along with any old expired passports for you and your
accompanying family members.

i have already submitted RPRF & police clearance from my address in india, haven't travelled abroad for more than a week.
(we did go abroad for a week for the honeymoon though).

kuku, shamsia .... any thoughts ?
how to send passport ? dhl ? etc etc

ok, thanks! So I'm wondering if a persons medical is expired, and ND has their passport- how are they supposed to go get their medical done again?

My only guess is that they try to wrap up as many cases before the 6 months figure.

Vo will send you a letter asking you to redo your medicals.  DMP won't do medical without that letter.

u mean redo medical can be done only with vo's letter and passport not necessary!!
I don't even know when new delhi gonna ask me for redo medical. . . I m so pussed up with this process

good yaar but u didn't know what is ND, VO ask me  travels detail after PPR ( traveld 28 days ) and still after 90 days I m waiting

yeah if you already have medicals expired (and of course your passport is with the VO), the letter VO sends out to you will state as such that your medicals have expired and need to redo them. DMP knows about this process, hence they only need the letter. you cannot redo medicals without the letter. 

I am not sure what's going on with your app and why you're not getting any answers from your MP? did the MP say its pending final review or something else? unfortunately lawyer cannot do anything either until some sort of decision is made.

The biggest issue with your application now is that they cannot issue you a visa without valid medicals as the expiry on the visa itself is that of your medical expiry date cause you cannot land in canada with expired medicals.  I think i responded to you a month ago after talking to my MP friend about your situation, that in rare cases VO can extend the expiry of medicals after consulting with DMP. However, this is more common if application was being processed within canada vs abroad. so not sure what is the cause of concern with your application. hope you hear something soon.

yeah i know man, i did make sure that i gave them the details with my application. Was a straightforward honeymoon package from makemytrip.com
and chartered flight tickets reserved for makemytrip.com. I don't think i can give him more details than that, even if he asks now. 

BTW what details did he ask for from u ?  like documents or interview about ur trip on the phone?
