and Rajeev yes I can see they held it for a long time as my wife told me it had 26th october stamped on the envelope but the letter itself was dated 5th of october so am pretty sure they wrote it and maybe forgot about it . I had my local MP send them a email to inquire about the case on the 23th of october and I got their reply on the 25th that the case is awaiting initial review and miraculously the letter got posted on the 26th now I am not sure if the MP's letter had anything to do with it or it was just a coincidence but I guess something worked . She will send the pp on monday and suppose to get there on the tue 2nd of nov and yes the chc is closed from the 5th to the 8th of nov .
They asked for the regular PCC, ROPRF, any old passports and previous travel in the letter. I had paid the ROPRF back in july when I applied for her and the rest have already been sent . All she needs to send is a copy of the ppr request letter and her passport . She got a bunch of bar code stickers which she needs to stick one on the back of her passport, one on the ppr letter copy and one on the envelope of the courier . Blue Dart is the only courier that delivers passports in India as far as I know . Good Luck to all awaiting some good news.

How do we come to know the file is transferred to ND is it done when we get AOR. Will the sponsered person come to know that file has reached ND, do they send any notification that file has reached ND or it is updated in Ecas or they will only communicate when they need additional docs or PPR.
Please help

Yes Kal you are right she have to use bard code on that coz that bar code have all information regarding ur file.
adihanda.... yes you and sponsor both can know when file is transfer. when Ur sponsorship approve by Mississauga they will send you latter and will be mention on which date Ur file transfer to ND and about new Delhi it's depend which thing will be update 1st. Ur e case or AOR....
some ppls receive AOR 1st then e case and some ppls get e case update before AOR. both will be tell you when ND start work on Ur profile.
once you will be received Ur AOR from ND there is a file # mention and you can use that file number and applicant detail on e case and it will be show you all detail regarding ND updates.
Plus don't forget to check Ur Mail Address on e case coz some time they do spelling mistake there.

Does AOR means sponsorship letter sent to sponsor in Canada or the letter sent to sponsored person here in
IS there separate case for sponsor and sponsored person mean to say we have to check details separately or it will reflect in same only.
In how many days can one expect response from ND embassy with the file number.

Actually the sponsor in Canada gets the letter that they have been approved to sponsor the applicant. That is the sponsorship portion of the application and its decided in Canada. Once the file has been approved it will be transferred to ND, its then the applicant portion so then any communication will be to applicant not sponsor.

Seems like, the 'In Process' status itself takes a lot of time these days. Its been 35days since my sponsorship is approved, but it still shows as Permanant Resident status Not available, when I login thru my sponsor's client ID. i.e. they have not yet started processing my appln itself. |

You should already have the file number its the same that you received from the aor letter from mississauga , In terms of changing the status from unavailable to in process on ecas takes approx 1 month from the date of aor. |

So u mean to say ND embassy will contact the person in India within a month after a file transferred to them. I just want to know about it when the first communication to person in India is sent after AOR received from Miss.
Also when u get PPR how u send the passport can u do it via Courier even though the address is a PO Box

Hello
Exactly six weeks since New Dehli started processing my husband's application. Still says in process and no update on ecas today. By seeing the timelines of a couple of people in this thread, it looks like it should have shown on ecas by now if they have scheduled an interview. Given that no interview date is seen even after 6 weeks after processing started, is it safe to assume that we have dodged the interview bullet? Or, they can still schedule an interview?

@ deepak virdi..ya same here no updates..n its been 70 days they've my pp.. i thought they are done with june ppl but i guess we still hav some june applicants with us..it shuld be done by now but we have no choice except to wait .. ..maybe next week is ours!! gud luck every1. |
