How long does it usually take to receive a reply on a CSE?
Usually 2-3 weeks and depends on what you are asking. Most of the time they will not reply to general questions. what do you plan to ask? |

Well... I asked my wife to send a CSE. She said she mentioned that she has sent her passport in March 2011 and has not received any other correspondence since. She also mentioned that she has an 8 month old baby who her husband (me) has not seen in 6 months and wishes that the application is processed at the earliest. Is that good enough? |

Its hard to follow every members story without the timeline on your profile..hence i wondered. Yes, your case qualifies for a reply as they have held the PP for too long in your case. Usually they do reply within 2 weeks or in your case i wouldn't be surprised if they change case to decision made... All the best. |

Been a lurker for a while, So thought I should join in while I wait for good news too.
I have applied as a sponsor for my wife who is in India.
Sent the application to the Mississauga office on June 10th
Hoping to hear something regarding sponsorship approval in the next few days.
My concern atm is that we did not send her medicals along with the app as she was out of India on work, she has done the medicals now, but I guess we need to wait for a file number before sending it. Hope the dont reject the application because medicals are not included.

I think you do need a File # to update status..the best thing to do is wait until they send a PPR asking for medicals ( which they always do in the generic version ) You can also contact CHC ND through a CSE and ask them if she can send the medicals with your Client ID...If they say Yes, you can send it..if they do not reply to your email you would need to wait until you get the PPR... ( which would be very rare if they are so helpful as they are a bunch of lazy idiots) Usually they have been sending the PPR within 1 month in CHC ND..so you so should get yours soon and it is much better you send the medicals along with the PP. Hey Guys,
Any idea how much time does it take for the passport to be returned back after the Ecas states -DECISION MADE
My ECAS changed to DECISION MADE on 7th August, 2011..still waiting for the passport..Since i stay in New delhi itself, how much time does a registered post takes? (Passport is delivered via Registered Post by CHC ND)
