thx for the info. i am from punjab but i live in shimla.... may be 1-2 days of more delay Its registered mail; you receive it with the confirmation of permenant residency which gets signed at the airport in Canada when you land. It depends where you are in India, for Punjab, it took about 5 days I think to receive it from date of issue.

thx for the info... my pp was delivered on 21st may processing started 8th June interview waived  Decision made 4th August hope to get PP by 6th - 8th august My husband got his pp back 1 day afer decision made, although ecase showed they started processing file 3 days before status changed to decision made. So, technically, they mail your passport the day they start processing your file, given of course, they request pp and you've had the interview, also depends on where you live.

If your file is in ND for more than 2 months and you still don receive a PPR - Send them a CSE.
Usually these are forgotten cases - example me...i didn't get it till month 5 and never did..................
Contact them so at least you will get an update.
One unlucky situation which i had was the physical file was delayed in Ottawa for 2-3months.

Most of the times they might not respond, but if nothing happens in the next 2 weeks send them a 2nd CSE saying no PPR yet. In your case i strongly believe they will ask you to submit your PP via a email confirmation as a reply to your CSE. This happened to me and i asked DNT to do this and was the same outcome. Have you looked into getting help from MP? Your case is too long for a PPR...i can understand, been there, felt that frustration. |

Thnx for understanding me. i live in toronto and my spouse is in hyderabad delhi is far from our city regardless i can send them 2nd CSE next week if i dont hear any thing from them.dont know wat to do. god help me please. thnx prince. |

Guys, I'm in the same boat. I am from Nepal. My wife's application is underway in ND. We do not have "CHC' in Nepal, ND deals with our cases.
Sponsorship was filed on April 18,
Okayed - May 18
File transferred - May 31
Passport requested June 8, (in about a week!)
started processing - June 30 (says medical received as well)
And nothing after that. They have my wife's passport for exactly 50 days now
I am thinking of sending case specific inquiry, what would you suggest?
2 of my Nepalese friends had their application completed in 3 months from the date of application at CPC Mississauga just a couple of months back. That included mailing time n all.
ND does not send passports to our address directly. It goes to Canadian Corporate office in Kathmandu with their weekly shipment and they mail it (99% of times, we collect from their office). My wife's mailing address is different from the residential address. I was thinking if I send CS inquiry for change of mailing address, would that affect the 'bring-back date'? what do you guys suggest?
man, I am getting so impatient.
