thnkx everyone for ur kind help ...i hope dat dey jst send me letter by mistake n i hope dat dey recieve my passport already...but dear i see trend here dat da person whos staus change to "medical accept " on 5july he got visa on 9th july and whos status changed to medical recieved on 6thjuly he got visa on 10thjuly...n my status is changes to " medical recieved " on 11 july so it must change on 15th but it didnt yet...
n one thing more which is the most expected time to change in satus is it according to indian time or canadina time ..at wat time i check generrally

I understand your concern maan. Does it says anything like " we started processing XXX application for permanent residence on XX date."
 or NO.

Not necessarily status will change to Decision made after 5 days if ECAS shows in process and medical results have been received. We have so many members who's status said 'In Process' for a very long time .eg: Fprince / DNT

It could very well be an over lap like nylalisa said..we did have a few people who got a second PPR while they've already submitted the passport. If u've done everything right ( sent all ur passports with a copy of ur PPR) u need not worry..but def send them a copy of the confirmation u hv.

Ecas can change anytime....!!!! the trend has been..Tuesdays and Saturdays....but there have been many people who had staus change on other days as well.

yeh brin is right .....but brin these day specially in this month we have sen with all cases after they started working on application ecase changed to decision made with in 3-5days

They started processing on july 6 but still no update.
But I got my PPR on July 5 and submitted my PP on Jul11 and till now nothing.
I am hoping something good this week.
I hope everyone gets speedy visa.

yeh man wish u n every1 good luck but i m talking abt those whose documents were complete bcause thisis wht i have notice frm those people who got decision made for  instance jimiya2me's case she got decison made from application received but it was written tht they started processing the file on 29 JUNE N she got decision made at site on 2JULY same happen with almost every1 who got decision made this month........

Yea don't try to figure out times with regards to ECas, it's guess work at best because the system is so unreliable. Lines appear and disappear on that, some people mive from from "Application received" to "In process" to "Decision Made" while others never progress until one day visa arrives.

If you are within normal limits of 4-6 months, they have your ppt just relax. When you start getting closer to this timeline then start to wonder more whats happening and trying to reach ND.

With regards to your 28 days wait, well that's a gwmeral time they put. Because people e-mail them all the time about frivolous things, it hinders them to be more efficient at responding to serious inquiries like yours for example. It they feel it's something they should respond to they will. I am positive it's a case of overlap, especially if you tracked it and know you sent it to the right place.

Coolguy is right to, make sure they are not requesting an old ppt or travel history. They somerimes ask for that as well.

finally in the 7th month of processing in ND my ecas says

We received your application for permanent residence on December 22, 2010.
 
We started processing your application on April 28, 2011.
 
Medical results have been received.
 
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.


                                                     Since this is now the second time of the same file ,I hope it has to be a positive one.

Thanks mirmukaramali the trend is really wired some people getting response early than some people.The only thing that like while looking over everybodies responses that its not taking more than 3 and half months .So by looking at this we can expect something around middle of july.Stay positive and keep in touch

Well, my wife got her passport back with a shiny new visa on it. It was dated the 11th of July. So glad this is finally over.
And congrats vik on your ecas update!!!

Also Manny, They send the PPR by mail.
