My hubby received the VISA today.
The visa issued on 29th of June and received on 8th of July.

All the documents and pictures have been returned back with the visa.

Hey, does anyone know how long the visa is valid for? my husband's medical was doen 01/29/2011. Is medical valid for 6months or 1year? if 6months, does that mean my husband's visa will expire july 28th/2011??

medical is valid for 1 year and so is the visa...the letter that comes with the pp will tell the validity of ur visa

has anyone had to wait like more than 2 weeks after the Ecas changed to decision made?

i have seen people here in the forum who waited for more than 2 weeks once the e-cas updated...

I am new to this forum. Just sharing my timeline with you guys-

PPR on May 30, 2011


I have couple of questions regarding ecas like when the ecas status changes I mean will it changes according to Indian time or Canadian while file is being processed in ND.
Also, how long it will take to have passport back from them

Website claims that Ecas is updated as weekly on Tuesday .. but let me know ..which other day ..if any one has noticed changes ..

i think they change on wednesday not tuesday but i read in this tread so many poeple says some time sat,some time friday and tuesday but i log in every hour.so i think its just wednesday.
what is your status?
mine is not requested for pp/

Hi... My status on ecas is saying Application received by New delhi on April 29, 2011.  & PPR was on May 11, 2011 & additional document request was End of May as well... its been a long time for all this.. but status is still same.  as beginning.

mine is also same dear even though they asked me for original pics after ppr but dont worry we cant rely on ecase, this doesnt mean they r not working on our app. pray we get decision made this weekend...good luck all

Try not to contact ND.  Wait for ND to reply back to your app.  Most of the time,  its first come, first serve.  Think of how much administration work goes in individual case & there a lot of people applying for different kind of case.  Have patience & enjoy the time while you can. lol .
