Even i think so that I should hear something very soon... but then it all depends, we r dealing with ND... u never know... well all the best i hope even u r through to ur process very soon.... I have a feeling you should be hearing back from them soon. Though, if you send in additional documents if they didn't request it, i feel like it takes long, because they want to know why you are sendin these documents. As far as I know, They have immigration officers that are trained in indian culture and they do all the screening and checking there. But then again, what do i know, i couldn't even lie on my application, though it could've been done easily and immigration officers would've never known and my husband would've been here by now. I hope you hear something soon.

Sending in additional documentation unless asked for will delay your file. First off, no one asked you to send another call log to prove that you are still in touch..just an example. DNT's case is different as he went for a honeymoon and he did not submit the pics..so in his case being proactive just saves time as ND will ask for this info at a later date and can also schedule an interview just for the reason that there was no honeymoon..hence we advice him to send the pics with the PP when he gets his PPR. For all newbies - Do not try to please all VO in ND and try to send them monthly updates of your relationship, it will only delay your case and they will start looking into why you are sending all these in the first place. Unless requested don send anything to this office, if they need it they will ask you.  |

May be... but people who are applying in Feb even March applicant they are being approved .... seriously its frustrating why it is being delayed... and ecas still says "Application Received".... I don't know how true this might be! A couple of us had doc req after the PPR, and had got the interview date scheduled within a mnth. I'm sure there were a few others who had doc req and they weren't delayed because of it. The presumption is that any doc requested after the file is opened can cause a delay cause they'll hv a set date to open the file back. But with ND they've been pretty fast even with doc req.
So, makes me think that there might be other issues which could cause delay.ie: Decision to be ok'd by a senior officer (?)

Dont worry about the status even mine says "Application Received"... and ND has the PP since April 9th... Congratulations!
My application still says application received. Though they requested my husband passport and we sent it last week on June 15th. I hope I hear something soon.

They do not follow FIFO ( First In First Out ) hence it is your luck and fate when it comes to being approved quick. Know it does not make sense, but this is how these idiots work. You will get it soon...i can understand. |

I know gazillion of thoughts goes through our mind when our neck is held by New Delhi, should I send or not send, would this put a red-flag on the file, would this do that, would it be delayed, I;m just saying whats going through my mind.. when the time is right do what you feel is right and figure out the trend.
I like to be pro-active, so I may just send few pics and the call logs since Mar 25th onwards...
First I want to goto India now.. I'm tired of this... arghhhhhh @ @ @ ND sucks!!!!!!!!!
