Hi everybody my application reached delhi on 16 june since then i am waiting  .Is anybody around that timeline received good news kindly post your time lines its help for everybody.Did anybody had an idea how much more time i can expect on my application its very frustrating waiting everyday .And can we email delhi office or its not a good idea.Kindly share your info

Kindly share your landing interview and the procedure please.
I sponsored my wife and it is a famous story on this thread, close to 500 pages long LOL..issue is she did not get her PPR for 5 months since file reached ND. in the end after 7 months all was fine...if you are from TamilNadu, many say be prepared for extensive BC due to what is happening here with Immigration Canada with their 0% knowledge of what a Indian-Tamil is.... i don believe that fact but have seen most applicants from TN having gone through a extra few moths of processing. all the best...do you live in GTA? |

I sponsored my wife and it is a famous story on this thread, close to 500 pages long LOL..issue is she did not get her PPR for 5 months since file reached ND.
in the end after 7 months all was fine...if you are from TamilNadu, many say be prepared for extensive BC due to what is happening here with Immigration Canada with their 0% knowledge of what a Indian-Tamil is....

So you had well experienced with CIC/CHC ! Hmmm I am ready to face with any type of BC well the main concerned for Tamilians cases that they are cross checking that weather they are the members of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) or with any such related political groups. Background checks are done to determine whether you or your family members are a security risk to Canada. They check into your background - the schools you've attended, organizations you've been part of, military service, jobs you've had and security clearances you've been granted, etc. These will be done in each and every country we have resided in - how long it takes depends on how many countries you've lived/worked in, and how well their local agencies cooperate with CSIS. P.S. Post 9/11, background checks are MANDATORY for every person entering Canada.My wife is sponsoring me buddy and she lives in Ontario ! My strong faith that my application wont be delayed just being a Tamilian ! Later I will elaborate in this regards briefly. Regards |

Hello RAV23 & Manny Natt! Whats your ECAS Status ? Kind advice just wait for one week more and see if not than Send an email at "delhi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca". Generally it takes around one month for issue of PPR and mostly it depends case to case and the VOs dealing the file. On website it says that they won't reply before normal processing time but they actually do. So better send them mail after one week buddy ! Best Wishes. |

caips notes give u derail abt ur case but ill delay ur case if u order it as i know n if ur ecase is updated to in process means they r working on it so i think u shud wait but u can take advice from seniors like fprince he is been through all this n ll give u best advice ....... thnx for the responce.

Hello ! Firstly there is nothing to worry buddy. In your case your wife will receive PPR after security and BC soon. Once medicals received the next process is confirmation of Landing fees payment and BC, once this formalities finished she will get her PPR soon. PPR are issued at initial review of the case or at finalization of the case. Just Cool and congrates. |
