My spouse will be out of country for couple of weeks, and if request for passport is received then- can pasport be couriered to ND, or usually it has to be accompanied by letter which was recieved from ND? As spouse will be out of country (taking pp along) and meanwhile cousins will be checking letters, and if there is any mail from ND , they will contact and next needful will be done to send pp or if he/she can personaly drop pp to ND? Just curious to know what all is required along with pp in straight case....I mean when they ask only for passport. My spouse will be travelling to India from Nepal for 2 weeks starting from day after tomorrow and no request for pp is yet received, very nervous  Thanks everyone. U need to send the PPR letter also along with ur ppt. |

Yes,
Guess its just bad luck for us . we ve become prey for this New Delhi office. They l take their own time, why shud they bother? Its not their family.. Its us who are suffering, without our spouses. I have never faced this kinda mental tension ever in my life!!! such a lean period!!

Passport must be returned with a copy of the PPR letter from the ND embassy so as they know that the passport is for that particular file number.

No update from anyone with gud news? Too much stress to handle. In my case as I wrote yesterday my spouse with parents is going out of country for couple of weeks. If ppr request comes now it will be delayed by another 2 weeks , but that's fine as atleast it will move one more step ahead. Hope request comes soooon. |
