ariell - I agree! This is in lieu of sanyrog's Q. Sanyrog, Read last 2 lines of the following posted by a senior member (this is the first thread, a sticky thread, in this forum):

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/spousal-sponsorship-t46995.0.html

Im a bit confused though! What if the PR sponsor has to make frequent business trips overseas, not necessarily, to the sponsored spouse's country, but any other country? What happens in that scenario? The sponsor might risk losing his/her job if he/she refuses to travel just cz a sponsorship app. is pending? There are several consulting/sales jobs in which overseas travel is imperative.  Sanyrog, I suggest your husband should call CIC to find out if short visits are permitted cz I clearly remember I read somewhere on this website that a lot of PR/Citizen sponsors visit USA to spend time with their US born spouses! Seems like a tricky situation to me. BE 100% before you take any step! Good Luck!

Kunal: This is an excellent post for What to Expect When You Land meant for FSW immigrants but spousal cases can also benefit out of this, Good Luck:

@  party - I feel there is no party place better than DELHI, even Manhattan partying for several years is 2nd best for me as compared to Delhi,  hehe =)

Kunal I sent you the wrong link buddy. Sorry about that. I meant to paste the following link:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t36735.0.html

The above link is for FSW applicants but we can benefit out of this too.

Other than that, landing interviews are a formality and not a big deal. She has to declare cash if she carries more than CAD $10,000.
I searched for "Landing Experience" and found the following:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t26877.0.html

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t39867.0.html

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t17573.0.html

Let me know if yo have any Qs. Good Luck.

hello   ppl can anyone actually confirm if they can demand to see a pcc before you leave as IPSkang got asked . I am sure its just a way of making money as If they really need you for a crime it should redflag your name as soon  as they enter your name from the passport. I have personally never been asked or know anyone that has been asked for it before.

They never asked my husband for a PCC when he landed. Which is a good thing because he didn't have a copy of his PCC with him!

Hey its not during landing, its when you r doing to board flight to other country. Well, somehow he might be right as I might have done any crime during 6 months and now want to flee from the country asap. Its the way they think. Its not bad if you can get latest PCC, there is no harm in taking it.

One more things, I didn't fill B4 form and neither they asked. One things immigration officer at Calgary asked me is that any goods to follow?

Hey Prixit - I have seen cases when ppl have being called for interview after PPR...however, i THINK in our case PNP, where education and work experienced is also assessed it could be that they just want to talk to you regarding that!

YES! fortunately, people have been asked to come back at 4pm same day to collect PP...if you are lucky, VO will inform you whether you have been approved (or give u a hint)...regardless, after the interview it does not take longer than 2 weeks!!!

Good luck and don't be nervous....you know everything you submitted is legit...good luck again!!

Getting interviewed on a saturday is wired though...maybe you wanna confirm the date.

From what I have observed it wont be long after you get a decision...dont worry, I hope all your docs and entire case is legit and in order...so nothing to worry about!

BTW - why dont you order CAIPS notes ASAP...you still have time, and that will tell you the reason you are being called....let me know if u need help with that!!!!

Hi everyone, wondering if you can give me some info.  Our file was transferred to Delhi on August 18th.  Has anyone else got a similar timeline that could weigh in if they have heard anything.

Also, will I be able to see anything on ecas or do we have to wait for the mailed letter to be able to see what is going on on ecas?

Thanks for any feedback!
