Hello ,
I usually read this forum but never posted anything today i thought to post my timeline.
I send file to mississauga office on 16th may 2010
Mississauga started processing on 18th May ,2010
Sponsorship approved on 21st june , 2010
Delhi start processing on 8th july
Get passport request on 22nd july , 2010 dated 8th july
Passport reach to delhi on 24th july, 2010
I just want to know i have submited original marriage certi , my wife's passport of my name , two side wedding card , all the photos of engagement , marriage , and honeymoon. I didn't hear anything from delhi office , so is there chance of interview ? I had emailed them and they replied that background checks are going on 9th august and 13th august they replied file is pending intial review.
Please advise someone , I am really confused and lot stressed.

@ ALL, GOT VISA FOR MY BABY TODAY  HAVE TO BOOK TICKETS...HMMM D RATES R SOOO HIGH.... I specially than everyone in this woderful forum for guiding me, answering each and every silly questions,cheering me up when i was so down and providing all positive thoughts... I wish Xyrus,minku9,deep,ipskang,kittyamul,chinthu,cool_5,DPM and all other NEWBIES( extremely sorry if i left out some names) a very good luck... sending visa vibes to all... I will surely continue 2 visit and definitely motivate and encourage those who r in dis painful path leavin loved ones ( I am not an imm expert so can answer ques related 2 it  ,but help u 4m my personal exp...) March 17 recieved my app June 25 recievd approoval July 2 PP request July 6 pp sent Aug 23 e-mailed them Aug 25 got reply that file is pending final review Sept. 13 Got Passport With VISA .. finally wait is over was tough one Good luck to All |

Yes I asked for the CAIPS notes which said that my background checks were taking time as I served in Govt sector at diff places in India. Hope that the wait ends now...,,Thanx

I don't think interview would be necessary as you submitted heaps of proofs! It seems to be more than enough. I would recommend not to email them so frequently as they will spend time checking your status and replying rather that working on your case! If their email reads pending initial review, then it will take a while. Stay calm & take it easy! |

Thanks for nice words. I am so much worried as people are getting their visa.
What do i understand if they are saying background checks are going on then another email pending review ?
I was worried because i don't have phone communication and email recordsas we have arranged marriage and we lived in same city.
I just pray that no couple lives apart from each other. its really painfull to live without partner.

Well i'm about to join this group. I'm from the July applicants. My sponsorship got approved Aug 24 and the file was forwarded to ND CHC the same day i guess.
Now I need to wait for 'in process' and hope that no interview is needed and then hope for a ppr and then hope that no additional docs are needed and then hope that background check is done quickly and then hope that visa is stamped and returned fast LOL.
O gosh, its gonna be a pleasant pain! coz at the end it will feel amazing like some of you folks feel this week!
