Mailing address as Canada address.
How will they send it to my India address?

Do u have any VIsa stamping on ur passport? or any travel stamps... u have send ur passport on 14july and is it still shows in process in ur cic status?

No, no stamps at all, I never travelled abroad before. It says "In process" since June 24,2010 , no updates after that.

If I check with my sponsor's details (Client ID, Receipt #), I see her Canadian Address. When I enter my Immigration File # (Bxxxxxxx), I see my Indian Address. If you are the applicant and in India, your should have Indian address in eCAS and your sponsor should have his/her Canadian Address. If not, you must contact the embassy (email, post, case specific form online) with your updated Indian address cz that's where they would send correspondence to you! Didn't you provide your Indian Address in your application? I wonder how they have a Canadian Address for you if you are an applicant in India? Good Luck! |

Hey! The stamps or bar code stickers stating your Immigration file # are used for sticking them on Passport & additional docs. if they request any. Good Luck! There are no specific steps followed. It all depends on the case details - How much relationship proof you have submitted, whether an interview is required, if all requisite docs. are enclosed, how much detailed is you app., Immigration Officer's style of working. Some are proactive and would immediately update status on eCAS whereas others have received PP with Visa and eCAS still says "In Process"! My eCAS PR status already states "Medicals have been received". It has been like that since my processing started on July 7th. Im hoping for Decision Made/Passport with VISA soon but I know it all depends on Immigration Officer and the kind of background checks they do! |

Thanks Xryus for the info.
I see that there is a canada address as mailing address when I give my immigration file Number.When contacted,my lawyer states tat since she is the representative her address is displayed.But application has indian address of mine and the passport will be sent to the indian address.

Mine was in-process July 21 and letter dated July 22...so, you should hear back anytime now! Not sure, but if you have appointed a rep, they will communicate with them...I believe!! Good luck! |
