in how many days did your MP reply with your case status after you contacted them? im contacting my MP by email right now actually. yes since you have interview you should apply for GCMS notes right away, since they can take from 3-6 weeks to get. we applied for GCMS notes today after we got interview request yesterday.
thanks and good luck! Smiley

Did your spouse from Canada applied for GCMS note? What was the option you selected, by email? My MP replied to me after 3 days. He said date is not confirmed yet for interview. So do think the GCMS note will contain the doubts that my VO has and the expected interview date?

yes my sponsor is outside of canada with me and she got her mother in canada to order them (requester has to be in canada). dont worry im sure the forms are for GCMS notes just mention in the email that you are requesting GCMS notes. yes i selected by email, which is the easiest i think. when you contacted your MP, did you give them the information that they need to contact CIC about your case or should i assume that the MP will know how (like which phone number and email address to contact CIC)? also, do you think MP can find out reason for interview? for sure the GCMS contains the doubts about your case.
thanks again and hope this helps Smiley

No, MP may not give that much detail for the cause of your interview as probably GCMS note can. did you have a big reception for marriage? are you two from the same caste and almost of same age? I am just asking from curiosity, if you dont want to answer you can avoid it.

im thinking that gcms can take up to 6 weeks, but i hope i will get them sooner. yes we had a big reception and religious ceremony in india with all relatives from my side(over 1200) and a court marriage with friends(15) in england. however, my wife's mother did not attend the ceremony, which might be the problem? yes we are the same age i am 23 and my wife is 22. yes we are from almost same casts, i am from jatt caste and my wife is from warrior caste (priest). Her father was Hindu and MOther is Canadian born christian and we had love+arrange marriage. we met on matrimonial site and our parents are fully agreed and very happy with our relationship. but still im not sure about reason of the interview. hope we receive our gcms notes before interview so we can prepare well.
good luck Smiley

i think its for immigration consultant, if your consultant is requesting your GCMS notes on your behalf. it looks like registration number of immigration consultant. i left blank in my form

Yes, that's right, so if you don't have a consultant, leave the field blank.

ashu, good luck with the interview, am sure all will go well.

I was just wondering for all those who have applications in process, does the e-Cas status actually change and do they write "in process". My application still says Application Received.

hey did anyone get the option in GCMS or CAIPS form to check a box labeled as GCMS? because the forms I am looking at it does not have that option

I think GCMS or CAIPS notes will not provide you accurate information if you have interview. In GCMS notes just provide information about your application which has had been already reviewed. In Notes,,they cant write question what officer wil ask you.If u have interview,it depends on officer who will take your interview, what officer will ask,,everything depend on officer. So due to my opinion,if your mind and heart saying for GCMS notes ,you can apply, but you will not get perfecct information.just be prepare for intrview if u have(all evidence of your geniune relationship.I think it help you and all of those who are applying for this.
