Congrats!!!!!!!!!!! Wohhhoooo!!! That's great news  we got our visas around the same time! Those CAIPS notes must have beeb confusing for you and thrown you off. Good thing you got your approval right after! After 8 months, you guys needed it! I really think that a case is processed depending of the visa officer you get. I thought my case would take time, since I'm in the US- but it only took 3 months After reaching Delhi. So the complexity of the case is also depended on which visa officer is handling your case. Anyway- I'm still waiting for my passport with the visa, to arrive at my grandma's house in Delhi. Can you let me know when your husband gets his? |

Guys, in the IM0008 forms, my spouse used the new smart card as for her national identity document, there is an issue date but there is no expiry date written as it is valid for life time. How should she fill that part on the form?

Hi Folks,
I received my Sponsorship approval last week and the file has been transferred to the ND VO. The E-CAS status says "Application Received":
"We received XXXXXX's application for permanent residence on February 2, 2012.
Medical results have been received"
Is PPR the next thing? If yes, do they send PPR by email or regular mail?
Also, how long have they been taking to send PPRs after Sponsorship approvals lately?

Thanks.. But you know what, it's so difficult to keep my calm. Every morning I tell myself that I will see decision made on the status( it's like blind faith). On 16 th may, it will be four months but on this forum have seen cases going beyond unreasonable timelines..  really, life is on a stand still.. Spouses who hav quit work n come to their hometown post marriage n now waiting for visas( or I am the only fool haha). Seriously, before we applied I had no clue whatsoever about the processing timelines, I would hav never quit work.. Gosh! Started ventiong out.. it's like a sudden transit from such a busy schedule to being at home n just wait... Waiting to come out of this deep limbo! Sorry, just started venting out.. Hope, this ordeal ends for all the ppl who are in this waiting game! I am in the same boat. Left job on 30th April thinking that by May mid i will surely get visa and by end I will fly. But still e-cas says "In process" |
