What I have noticed till now is that only guys being sponsored by their Canadian wives are called for interviews. Does anyone know of any women being called for interviews?

i got PPR fm ND on 27th march..
one of my friend got her visa in matter of 15 days, she is not listed here, on this forum...
i am unable to understand.. some get within 15 days, some get later.. why this discrepancy?pls advice.

I Indian Spouse, use your Immigration Number that CIC-M gave in the sponsorship approval letter (not the UCI#) go here .... https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en and then click on the "Continue" button, and then next page, check the box in the bottom, and click "Continue" and then enter your information.... and there you go. You should be able to log in and see the status. Make sure you LogOut each time, as it's very private and important information.

That website link I gave you is from the CIC website... so to go on it next time, go to the CIC main website and then on the right hand side of the page, click on "Check Application Status" and it will bring you to the link I gave you.

Let me know if you have any problems logging in

Its like asking how come a doctor here can't do 50 cataracts a day instead of only 3 to 4 when each surgery takes less than 10 minutes and in a country like in India they can?

Interestingly, my ophthalmology surgeon asked this question and answered it too
He says "I am ready to do as many operations in a day as I can, but the government (hospital) doesn't allow me"

Nothing yet...Still "In Process".

I had sent a CSE on Mar-06, for which ND replied few days back (after a month approx.) that as a sponsor I am not authorized to receive the information about the case it seems. They replied me stating that I have to attach the authorization form from my wife to release the information about our case to me.

On Apr-04, I have sent another CSE, this time from my wife's ID, hopefully we get a reply for it in 3 more weeks time.

Interesting Statistics from CIC-New Delhi.... about the applications from Spouses & Partners only in 2011.


20% of cases were completed in 2 months
30% of cases were completed in 2 months
50% of cases were completed in 3 months
70% of cases were completed in 5 months
80% of cases were completed in 6 months

Approval Rate: 85%
Total # of Visa's issued from Spouse & Partner category: 3,921

Seems like they process more than 10 cases per day only in the spousal category.

Thanks! I'm trying really hard not to think about this process and just focus on the upcoming trip and seeing my husband, but it's really hard. It would be so cool that while he is here, my status goes to "Decsion Made" Especially when two people from this forum, who applied like the same week as me, got their visa within like a month!! 

NO UPDATE IN OUR CASE..CAIPS not received yet...we also applied end of August....

File transferred mid November. Status on ECAS Application received. Medicals Received. Passport requested Dec. Additional photos of religious ceremony, family outings after marriage, and proof of living together (WTF) requested in Feb - request not received until Mar start. And now still waiting. My husband has traveled a lot......will keep you posted.

Jsut quick question i m sending original Notice of Assesement so i will leave black point no : 17

Regarding Point no 19 -A : i m submitting Payslips should i tick please let me know

Also my file is so big its very hard for me to include everything in one file so i have to make two files is it okie to submit two files please let me know bro

ok sorry for late reply
for quest. 17 *( its for option c printout) if you have provided option-c tick the box. but if you didnt attached option-c dont tick and write a good explanation letter for not providing option-c and attach with your application.
quest. 18. you are providing letter from your employer so tick that box in front of 18.
quest 19. this line is to provide alternatives of option-c, like, interest income, savings, investment, any other income, business income
if you have any of these then tick the box in front of that line
on payment receipt put sponsors details
