Hi All, I have been avoiding the forum for a while, makes me depressed seeing many get DM's etc. Im guessing many of you are in Canada or getting ready to leave. We are still waiting.  Cival, Dont worry, we will also get good news soon. Just hang in there. I know its very difficult as I am also going through the same but everything happens for a good reason. What does your E-CAS say? Is it application received or in process? |

Thank for your reply,
yes applicant had foreign stay/travel history,stayed in EU for 4.5 years.came back india in 2008.
but PCC from that country is already submitted with the application.

Hi Ajith, Still "application received". What about you? Last I heard, was from MP, that we will most probably have interview. Havnt heard anything from ND, on when it is. Good to know your still waiting, so I have some company  |

Is that the only difference in your application? That the applicant lived in EU for 4.5 years? Which country? I think background check is done through the Canadian intelligence agency and it takes time for them to come through. |

Good to know your still waiting, so I have some company Its "Application Received" for me also. So, if you have an interview then the best thing is to apply for GCM notes. I approached my MP office but they asked me wait until end of this month for the 6 months to complete. :-( I will be a company for you! :-) but hopefully we should get the visa. Its so draining me. |

Applied in Dec 2011, Sponsor Approval in Jan end 2011, PPR in Feb end 2011 and my status changed to in process this week |

Ha ha, ajith111, thats what I am expecting tooo... My status changed to "In Process" fairly recently (on Feb 25th) and after two weeks I havent heard anything So, nothing is "safe" per se  |

yes,only this is the diffrence that applicant lived in EU for 4.5 years.nd the country is cyprus.small island.
applicant got two times PCC from there and easy to get PCC.I am so depressed when it will clear and my status comes to ''In process"
what do u meant by Background check by canadian intelligency ??Is this for security checks???

This is what I have been observing from august. so give another 1 or 2 weeks, surely you will get a good news. |

Approved by CPC-M on 27th Feb sent to ND
and ecase status is "Application Received"
"We received your application for permanent residence on January 6, 2012.
Medical results have been received".
Can someone please tell me me how to know when the application is being received by ND?
Is there any contact number to know, what is the exact status of my application, whether it is in progress or not.Bbecause ecas does not reflect current status sometime?
