CAN I WITHDRAW RS.ONE LAC FROM MY SAVINGS ACCOUNT AND DEPOSIT TO MY EXISTING MUTUAL FUND.  SAVINGS ACCOUNT WILL COME DOWN BY ONE LAC AND MUTUAL FUND WILL GO UP BY ONE LAC. I HAD SUBMITTED BOTH AS MY PROOF OF FUND WHEN I SUBMITTED THE FULL DOCUMENTS AT ND VISA OFFICE

PS: SAVINGS ACCOUNT BALANCE IS EXACTLY THE SAME AMOUNT NOW, THAT I HAD SEND TO CIC WHEN I SUBMITTED THE FULL DOCUMENTS.

As I came to know (from a friend), that the conditional PR 'll be issued to landing Spouse from next week.

Kindly clear, if anybody has information.

There is no such rule as conditional PR. Anybody receiving PR after March 2nd 2012, who came to canada on a spouse visa will not be able to sponsor their spouse(2nd marriage) for 5 years. They were planning to introduce conditional PR but that would have promoted domestic abuse.
Anyways, these rules do not effect any one of us here, 5 or even 10 years, does not make any difference to genuine relations. There rules are to deter fake marriages and are welcomed by everybody.

"To show it is serious about cracking down on marriage fraud, CIC is taking a number of steps to deter it. For example, in addition to the sponsorship bar, further public consultations are also expected to begin in the coming weeks on a proposed conditional permanent residence measure. A Notice of Intent proposing the development of this conditional measure was published in the Canada Gazette on March 26, 2011. The measure aims to deter people in newer relationships from using their relationship to gain quick entry to Canada as permanent residents when they have no intention of staying with their sponsor."

there are two rules being implemented, one regulation came into effect on march 2, 2012 which pretty much says that a sponsored spouse cannot sponsor another spouse or partner for 5 years.  the second one is the conditional PR. the intent to change the legislation was filed last march and in coming weeks this will be implemented.

this made me laugh we all had the links on our finger tips...lol.

for the 2 year conditional PR the consulations have been completed they were done last year and the process is being put in place to make the changes to the immigration and refugee legislation and will be implemented very soon.  As much as i like this new rule my only conern is increase in domestic violence.  I've seen and heard some crazy stuff some of the husbands do to their wives...only heard couple cases where it was other way around.

But it is confirmed in the "PANJ PANI" (news paper in Mississsauga), that the same has been implemented.

i don't know anything about panj pani or what the article says.  thus far the intent to make the change has been filed. once the law is in effect you will see the news release on CIC website, which at present there is none. besides all the genuine cases don;t have to worry about these changes at all, i'm ok if they make 2 years into 5 years doesn't make a difference, the genuine person will still be able to work and make a living without any issues. check CIC website for any changes or news realeses.
