congratulations maple dream. Nothing is more fun than coming to Canada in the middle of winter. For first couple Weeks my wife was enjoying the mild winter here in the west but not so much last week with windchill of minus 40 OMG!!!!

Now that maple dreams got her DM in 48 days from PPR. (congratulations again) i wonder if, dare i say,we should start expecting things to happen faster  ? KUKU paaji is next . . . i guess we can hope for better timelines if KUKU gets it within 50 days. (lets give ND some credit & cut some slack , i know SIVA will not agree with tis part) what say Freddie ? |

It is normal for background check to take a longer time if an applicant has lived in Canada. What was his status when he was in canada? You said his PR expired?
Yes, his PR did expire because he left for india after one year and did not stay for the minimum two year required. Actually we both had to convince our parents to get us married, and it could only be done face to face...so we did what we thought was right at that time...obviously we are regreting the decision now..!! |

@ eb1 Thank you!  I am a girl who sponsored her hubby. As far as his travel history is concerned, he went to Singapore for like 4 days in 2005 and that's it. It could be due to the situation he was inm since he did live in Canada, but I'm sure it should be fine. Chillax! Thank you for responding..but if you are sponsoring, then how come your status says mapledreams..lol?? |

As per your experiences in your life in the past, how much possibility is there to see your feeling coming true? My feelings are based on most positive outcome of the situation driven by historical fasts and figures. In the past, I have been close enough. In my personal case, I can see some good news coming at the end of Feb or early March. |

Wow, I like that name "Freddie" We had a dog and we had a land lord named "reddy" so I named our dog "Freddie" (it is just a mongrel..) I am so much prejudiced against ND because they refused TRV for my wife 4 times. My sister went to Australia immediately after marriage (they have a TRV for PR applicants it seems) |
