I really have no inside knowledge but I don't agree that the delay in issuing medicals is increasing the backlog in the long term. They could have completed files in dribs and drabs or reviewed all of them to see what they end up with and then issue the medicals and PPR's in a flood. Either way everyone gets here for Christmas. It's difficult to really understand their methodology but clearing one aspect of the task totally before going on to the next phase does make some kind of sense. Of course for those who went "in real process" early on it's a total pain in the you know what, but for those just going there now it will mean less of a wait. My head is now spinning. Not sure if that made any sense, but I hope so. The main point is they are actively working on pre-June files at the Delhi V.O. and that is the all you need to worry about.

For anyone coming to Toronto the federal government today announced a new National Park in the city which will be 13 times the size of Central Park in New York.

I agree. Once they have updated the status with in process date, I think it should take a maximum of one year to clode the file. It cannot continue to be in process for eternity
